u know i still am shocked u look KMFDM they have had 17 studio albums since 84 why is it Trent has only had like 7 since 89 and an EP?? I hope trent finishes that new NIN CD soon because it been far to long since new cd.

trent really... i loved ringfinger yet this is ten times better..your a genius in every fucking way but wtf were you thinking. I understand he didnt wanna be redundent because some of the lyrics are a lot like purest feeling...but he scrapped that song so why change it?????/

all this Purest Feeling was played on the 10 show 1988 pre-PHM tour opening for Skinny Puppy that Reznor later said "we sucked" at the end of the tour lol I read they played like maybe 6 songs, was prolly still amazing to hear NIN's material very early demos and such.

yeah, the lyrics in this version are pretty badass...I miss that chorus synthesizer from the PHM album version. I didn't realize how many demos Trent had for the Pretty Hate Machine album. Dam its so crazy Trent was so young when he got signed and released the ground breaking PHM album that pretty much got Industrial music into the mainstream within the era of 1989 and 1990. I dunno how he produced PHM using a Mac Plus comp, software for that computer "system 7" ew.

I'm glad some of these lyrics got shitcanned. One thing I always liked about Reznor's writing was that he usually steered clear of the retarded and overused cliches, and if he did use them he offered more and didn't use them as crutches.
