Say your in a room full of people, and somebody charges in with a gun. the only way to save everyone else is to sacrifice yourself. however you feel uneasy about it and dont do it and then everyone dies including yourself? is that good karma or bad karma? after all you did what made you feel the most comfortable and not sacrifice yourself. so it should be good, but then again you let a bunch of others die. so which is it?
@regor412 Wow, that's an interesting question. I have actually thought of questions like that many times. It's been over a year since I created this video and now I think I have an answer. It may not make much sense, but I KNOW it is true. First off, nothing is either good or bad, everything just is what it is. What's bad to you may be good to someone else. It's all a matter or perception. Second, karma only exists if you believe it does. I personally think whatever we put out comes back somehow
Thanks for the video, it was very explanatory about the process of Karma. However I am still slightly confused as too how Karma fits into the greater scheme of our lives. In particular its the messages from my heart that I don't understand. Sometimes they are just not there. Not trying to be humorous but I don't feel anything from my heart in small decisions like waffles or pancakes, or what brand of toothpaste I use to brush my teeth. Here Karma is confusing, which is the right choice?
Thank you Brian. I now understand Karma with a bigger meaning instead of "do good things and good things happen to you." The meaning means much more it not only affects you but everyone who is linked to the choice. You give great advice when needed.
hi Brian! this one is really great to understand the 'spiritual' aspect of the energy surrounding us and how everything is connected. hope everything is going the way you want and need. can't wait to see your next video! keep on making them!
@aurelianlafarge Hello Aurelian! Great to hear from you again. This law has really helped me slow down and be conscious of my choices. From food to thoughts, I finally understand that life is pretty simple... what we give out, we get back. Life is a bit chaotic at the moment (hence the gap between videos) as you know. I have faith that everything is happening exactly as it is supposed to, I just need to be patient. I will posting a new video this week. Thank you for your friendship and support.
One again a great video. We have to remember to take a moment and think about what we are doing and listen to our heart. Time to put the lesson in to practice & have a great week. Hugs and smiles. :)
@pixiepuff2006 Thank you so much as always for watching and commenting, you know how much it means to me. I totally agree, it is very important to consider the consequences of your actions. Like, I said in the video, if at the moment you act you feel good, then do it. If you have a feeling of uneasiness, then it's probably best to choose something else. I have been going through a lot lately, and have been very busy, but I promise to have a new video out soon. Big hugs :)
woah, this happen again. I just randomly said Ima go look if Brian going to make a video or already did. But then there it is, is like it's fate for me to watch it right when a video comes out :D i love your videos omg it's awesome and changing my life like seriously it is and reminds me to look beyond that im living but to think about it.
@Thowadee Wow, you just made me so happy reading your comment. I don't believe there is such a thing as "random". I know everything happens for a reason. Like attracts like, so you are simply attracting exactly what you need to be reminded of at the moment. Thank you sooo much for your continued support. I have been going through some pretty big life changes and have not had a lot of free time to make new videos, but I promise to have a new one out soon :)
I have always been a strong believer in Karma and I thank you again for taking the time to make these very positive videos for us. I've had a couple of things going on in my life recently and your videos have really helped. Thank you so much.
@Texanguy47 Thank you Perry. You are welcome, and thank you for always commenting with such kindness. I am very grateful to have you as a friend in this community. I also have had a lot going on in my life, and making these videos have really helped. I am currently dealing with the break up of a five year relationship and a move to a different city. It has been hard focusing on YouTube at the moment, but I will post a new video shortly. Thank you for your support and patience.
I've never really believed in Karma or even a great spiritual influence in my life but Karma in a way makes sense, it follows along the lines of most physical laws. However I did really enjoy the video, these last few have been very relaxing and have helped me a bit. Just when I need it too, thank you.
@madcol Thank you very much for your comment and for watching my videos. I really appreciate it. I am happy to hear they are helping you. They have helped me by just creating them. I always had a feeling that karma existed, but after years of life experience, now I know it does. I am very careful now of the actions I take and the words I speak, because I know they will come back to me in one way or another. I believe life is simple, we get what we give. So observe what you give out in life :)
@Andrew9151 Thank you Andrew. As you know, I am currently going through some pretty big changes in life. I am coping with the break up of a five year relationship with my girlfriend and a move to a different city. I appreciate your patience and support during this time, and am grateful to have you as a friend in this community. Keep being you :)
I liked the detail on the definition. Now I understand a bit more than I did. In tetherball the ball of karma will always come back, but you are the one who decides how and when to strike--in other words, you make whatever the consequences are with your choices, either a positive one or negative.
@mithical Wow, that was a great example. I am going to use that :) Thank you so much for always leaving such well thought out and interesting comments. I am grateful that you watch my videos. I am currently going through some huge changes in my life, but promise to post another video soon. Keep in touch :)
Actually Brian, Karma mean deed in English. However same difference. Also, a bit of news, I am now a Buddhist, so these can be some guidelines. Thanks again, Brian!
@ZachsVlog Hello Zach, that is really cool to hear. Remember that you are not your beliefs. You may be learning Buddhism but you are not a Buddhist. You are a soul, that just happens to have a body named Zach. You are so much more than you realize and I am excited that you are going in a very positive direction. Remember that all we are trying to do is remember who we are, and then being happy with that regardless of if anyone else approves. I'm really proud of you, and happy you are my friend.
@cuddlebear100 I have always believed in it as well. Now, I know it to be true. I feel life is pretty simple. We get whatever we give out. Not always in the same way, but always in a similar energy. Thank you as always for watching and commenting. It has been a very big time of transition for me, and I appreciate your support and patience. I will have a new video up soon. I wish you the best :)
