i was at this show they had a really bad electrical problem the music goes out completely and they kept playing ....finally came back and they never missed a beat! bad as show!! we were all flying high and they knew it!!

Most Likely he heard something in his ear monitors that led him to believe something was wrong with the guitar. I think he just called over for another guitar, and the original going out was just a coincidence in timing.

@UMRpilot when he called for another guitar they had to unplug the explorer and plug the les paul... thats why the guitar stopped playing.

4:00 was probably abroken string....i know a lot of guys that have had that happen but they arent able to switch guiars cuz if they have more than one at a gig it's probably in a different tuning so they have to suck it up and use thier musical knolege to find the same notes they need on different strings....and because i always have a back up guitar i have never once had to use it....
