i put these in one of my last cars and loved the look. but i must have done something wrong cuz they stayed on at all times. never drained my battery though, but stayed on all night. what do you think i did wrong?
@angelblake20 you most likely hooked them to a constant power supply maybe when you were looking for the parking light wire you found the constan 12v wire that comes into the harness and thought it was the parking light one. hard to say
i just installed my el glow gauges on my f150 it looked awesome but then when i was putting everything back i had to undo my testing connection wire, after everthing was put back i turned on my lights and none of my cluster or ac lights come on and the wiring is good please helpp!!! drew and i checked the fuses and there good.
ha i almost had that video ready to upload lol. do the parking lights come on? id say take it all apart and look for any loose connections harnesses or disconnected wires. maybe test to be sure your still getting 12v where you tapped into.
well i seem to have done a pretty good job guessing. my speed is almost dead on with my gps (a few mph off because of the over sized tires) my rpm gauge idles where it should and rev limiter kicks in where it usto. and if you fill up ur fuel right before or after you know where that needle has to go and mine is right on. and if you let the vehicle cool down then start it and put the temp gauge at C then thats right too. it sits right were it was b4 i did this when warmed up!
not sure... im guessing that the conversion kit just replaces the light bulbs in the back of the cluster with led? if that is the case than they would be fairly easy to do but im not sure.

@Zbox3000 same thing happened to my 03 altima. freakin seat belt was stuck. Turns out the belt folded as it reeled up.

how about the LED conversion kits? does the install go the same more or less?
