No matter what music you record or your pop chart status, if you were a black american musician between 1981 and 1983, your videos won't be played on MTV. Shalamar did'nt really get on MTV until "Dancin' In The Sheets" came out in early 1984, mainly because it was part of the Footloose Soundtrack and MTV likes to get their hands on videos for soundtracks of popular movies.

Wow, I've never seen this video before and I thought that I'd seen all of Shalamar's videos. Brings back great memories and really shows how far music videos have come. Still, love the song, love Shalamar and I'm still a Jody fan for life.

The only complaint I got with this video is that its sooooo short. The lp version clocks in at 4 and a half minutes. They could've made the video 60 seconds longer.
