There's no way I can unlock Petey. This game is too hard for me. I only manage to unlock Bowser Jr. & Diddy Kong. I have no desire to even attempt the Striker Cup.

The Striker Cup is insanely hard, and it gets worse in the elimination round and in the final match with Petey. Everything I throw at him gets countered perfectly with deadly results. Have you beaten this game yet? And if so, which character did you use? I've already lost my cool over this. At least I tried.

Dont worry about it, i had trouble also. I used my team of luigi, birdo, shy guy, and hammer bro to win the striker cup. eventually though i had to keep using cheap shots with hammer bro, but i won anyway! anymore questions you have you can ask. good luck

Actually, I'm at the final match right now with Petey. This time though, I used Yoshi, Hammer Bros., Birdo, & Toad. I'm doing pretty good right now. I won the first match 6-3. But I have a feeling the next match will be harder. for some reason, Petey tends to get much tougher when the match goes into Sudden Death. Also, he tends to get in a state where he's gonna score some points here, & there's nothing you can do about it.

yeah if you win the 1st game he will be harder in the 2nd and if you lose the 1st match he's easier in the 2nd but in the 3rd match he's always the hardest try avoiding the third match

Ok, I've finally done it. Even though the score was 6-5, I've finally gotten this shit off my chest & unlocked the big boss himself. He has a nasty special that should be avoided at all costs. He spits out that sticky goo that will stop you dead cold should you step on it.
