I always knew the Barrier Islands were important for fish habitat, but I had no idea about the bird population and migratory importance!! Beautiful filming. Thanks for making this...we all need the education.

outstanding work: camera, concept and narration. very fun to watch! Digital SLR? also agree the sound engineering excels. any info on equipmt used would be much appreciated as a filmmaker. mostly, it's great to see these birds in abundance, and to see their environment.

I just spent a week on Dauphin Island, Alabama, seeing many of the same birds (though not in such numbers.) Thanks for calling attention to the importance of protecting vital habitat for migrating shorebirds.
