honestly these are damn good earphones but they are getting overated. Being a DJ I reviewed the overall stats on these to the new skullcandys and the skullcandys are blowing them away, but if you are tight on cash (and really have no use for performance) these are the ones I would get. Great vid and comments!

Skullcandy is for people who don't care what they put in their ear as long as it looks cool. I've tried their whole line and I have to say they don't even come close to sounding as good as some other brands for the price. And to be fair I even used an amp to try to drive them better, but no matter what you do to a pig, it's still a pig

jesus every one loves these... i had 2 pairs because i was biking and the bass made them fall out and got caught in my tires i was so sad i almost cried :( because they were the best :) anyway i got a new pair and i lost the battery cover but no matter they are still the greatest sounding earphones ever. better than skullcandy but asshole friends would just go.. no there not. anyway amazing deal and buy them if you ever see them dont even think about it just buy them!!

Listen i had theis earphones(until my psp got stolen) and they are the alpha and omega of earphones.....Unfortunantly dont think pelican is selling them eanymore so i had to go to amazon to get them and get this i dont even have another psp yet..... yea their that awsome but they arent chep eanymore i got them on amazon for 40 dollars

I really doubt that you will find any other earphone in the hole damn world that sounds as good as head banger ear subs. this is not a lie. I think the closest thing to these is sticking your ear in a 12" sub woofer hole because they actually tickle your ears and fall out at very high volume. I really do beleave it is about 135db or even louder because at max volume it makes my head twich and feels like someone is scratching on my ear. These earphones are truly the best for the price!

i really cant understand people who think that the louder the better ether that or the more bass the better. music isn't all about bass. music is mostly comprised of mid's mid's = vocals guitars keys strings basically everything that makes up music.

and don't even get me started on the 135db. true they prolly do go that high but WHY would you listen to them that loud? do you enjoy killing your ear drums?

All I'm saying is, though very loud, it seems unlikely that they'd reach 135dB, even if that's what it says on the spec. As 110-115dB is what you'd get if you put a Sony Walkman phone speaker to your ear at max volume, and loudness approximately doubles every 10dB. Listening at 135dB would give the sensation of someone scratching your eardrum! Again - if you only need to crank this device to 10% to beat an ipod volume level then i'll take your word for it. They seem like kick ass headphones tho'

I have some head banger ear subs made for psp only and they are the best earphones i ever had! I've had them for 2 years now and the bass in them is so loud that it vibrates your ear and some times falls out. It sounds like you are sticking your ear in a sub woofer. I wish i had the universal ones.
