Blasphemy laws are the instigator of muzzling Freedom of Expression so important and necessary for a backward society of Muslim in general and of Pakistan in particular. Instead of instituting silly statutes, responsible people of Islam should educate their flock so as not get offended with trivialities like abuses, personal or otherwise.

Allah declares in His Quran:

—”Indeed, (O Messenger) We will look into the affair of those who speak scornfully against you.” (Al-Hijr-95)----

Allah Himself will look into the blasphemy matter. Allah didn’t allow anyone to take the matter in his hands.

@TruthBehindIt Islamic laws are not made only from the Holy Quran, these are made by combining Quran, Hadith & Fiqh. To clear my point, you will not find a single Quranic verse saying that the dog is haram. What will you do know?

Okay, it is not in The Quran that dog is haram. But even if it was not declared haram in Al-Bukhari, still we would not have been eating dog, lion, snake, lizard, etc. Eating such animals is against our Nature. And Nature is what we didn't, but Allah created. And Nature is a sort of Wahee, which is inculcated in all the creation, humans, sun, moon, wind, bee, etc. --The source of Law is Quran only, you just explain the laws in fiqh.
