Lita was managed by Sharon Osbourne when the song was recorded and released,but when Ozzy went out on tour he was given Vixen as the opening act instead of Lita. So they couldn't do it. She did get a chance to play at one gig with Ozzy sometime later and she was kept from talking or jamming with Ozzy. I think Sharon was jealous of them doing a song together cause she almost didn't allow them film a video either,but the record companies got it made.

They both sound terrible in this version to me. Well Lita Ford is okay but Geoff Tate sounds like a corny Vegas singer. Ozzy sounded better mainly because he was on pitch. Also if Tate has notes "that Ozzy could never dream of" as one poster claimed than why doesn't he hit the high part on the "it isn't always what it seems" line.

Technically there's no comparison. Tate had a voice in the 80's that most American Idol twits would die for. Ozzy never had a great voice, hell even he's said the same. What he was able to do is write songs that resonated with the masses, to a much greater degree than Queensryche, who went over a lot of people's heads with the complexity that Progressive music is known for. A lot of people just didn't "Get it." No way in hell is Ozzy technically better than Tate though (Sorry Oz, still luv ya!;)
