Excellent! Thanks alot for their names! I found lots of old Pavel Rudakov videos here on YouTube.
Back in the 1960s Rudakov was playing with Lavrov on guitar before Benjamin Nachayov.
I love watching these old Soviet videos! This style of couplet rhymed humor is still popular in Russia. I remember that not so long ago Russkoe Radio had 10 second ads to promote their advertising department. Muzhini, zhenityes. Zhenshini, Muzhayetes! (reklamnoe sluzhba Russkoe radio!)
@TheMezmorize Gustavo Arellano who writes the OC Weekly column "Ask a Mexican" explains:
"Both banda sinaloense and conjunto norteño are testaments to what Americans lionize as the melting pot but Mexicans know as la raza cósmica—the cosmic race. Banda sinaloense dates to the late 1800s, when Germans migrated to central Mexico. Conjunto norteño also originated in northern Mexico, thanks to colonies of Czechs, Poles and other Slavs who lived in that region and brought their acccordions.
@SOILDEROFGOD That´s Russian music, stupid. The Estadounidenses are ignorant, you don´t know where are Spain in a map of the world, you don´t know which is the most important religion in Israel, and you believe Star Wars is based in a true history... In case you´ve lost the "argumet" of the comment, I remember that they´re dancing Russian music : D
A truly amazing job of translating this really difficult material! I just can't imagine it done any better: true to the spirit of this skit, but very creative.. One additional note: the method of paying bribes with "puppies" ("schenkami") is a clever reference to one of the the Russian classics of satire - can't remember which one - either Gogol ("Revisor"?) or Saltykov-Schedrin.
Zhenya, How can we believe you? After all, your information tells us that you live in Canada. You deserting rat! How dare you abandon your mother Russia!
CUTE!!!!

@AndrMits
That's a good question.
The names of the two musicians are not clearly labelled in the credits at the end of the movie.
It would be interesting to find out their names and if they are still alive.

@brentslivenewyears Зовут их Павел Рудаков и Вениамин Нечаев. Только Запись их выступления никак не найду.

The music is traditional russian. The translation is extremely loose, much funnier in russian.

1) Hold your breath.
2) Copy all of these steps.
3) Go to two other video.
4) Paste it in the comments.
If you can do all of this without breathing you're a good pot smoker

The mighty accordion knows no national or stylistic boundaries!
Well, except for "country music". Mainly because accordion doesn't come across well on a dusty AC Delco speakers, you see.

@SOILDEROFGOD Mexican? Not at all. This would be somewhat of an Italian style.
