What good is the KJV if a person can't understand it? And how do you translate it for other languages? Do the translators need to learn the language, then figure out the archaic version, then begin translating it? The Bible is to COMMUNICATE God's truth to humanity. It needs to be CLEAR. They claim the NLT is close to the "original". Examine Hosea 6:2 in the NLT and compare it to any other version. Many passages are diluted in the NLT/ NIV.
