The RODE videomic is quite bulky. I want to try a Creative headphone mic, that has a flexible arm and is very light, I'll need to drill a hole in the side of the case. You'll probably be better off with a good external small mic, maybe with a bit of "dead cat" on it.
nice vid man , are the mics easy to handle or are they gonna ruin the versatility of the camera? i wanna get a gopro to use outside my car as i drive, are the mics good in the camera or will the mics like u just used help with sound quality?
why is the video footage a bit round? is it possible to make it flat?

It's the wide angle (fish-eye)..you can set a reduced angle in the option, from 170 to 120°.
