I love your hair and this video. You gave me some great ideas for natural hair. It looks like you have the same exact texture of hair that I have. I'm still transitioning from relaxed though.
By the way, how do you colour your hair? I have loads of grey hair in front, and have used Henna, but would like to try something different. I had my BC 2 months ago after transitioning for 4 months, so I am still quite new to natural hair. I live in England and depend totally on youtube for inspiration and advice for caring for my hair.
I haven't colored my hair in quite some time now. I'm actually letting the color grow out cause I overprocessed and damaged my ends (stupid me!... but i learned my lesson). I used Dark & Lovely Honey Blonde and applied with applicator bottle. The reason why my ends got damaged is because I kept reapplying the color to the already colored hair instead of just the new growth. If you color your natural hair, I would recommend getting it done by a professional, but that's just my opinion.
Thanks for the advice. I intend to just colour the roots. Finding a professional person to deal with natural hair in London is (in my experience) like looking for a needle in a haystack LOL!
I will be checkin out more of your videos! Your hair looks so good in all the pics and i can't wait for that length too. I am just a little over a year natural so i got a minute, but my hair has/is growing pretty fast (thank God!). Love the color and styles :)
It took me about 3 years to get this length. I would have been longer but I had to keep trimming off the colored ends cuz of the damage split ends... You'll get there. Just remember the 4 letters, HMCN (Hydrate, Moisturize, Condition, Nourish), stay away from products with mineral oil (parrifinum liquidum) & petroleum and get rid of split ends cuz ur hair is just gonna break off & u won't see ur growth. Trust me, I learned my lesson.
Wow, thanks!... and I like the hat style too plus I had make up on to match the scarf. I just like the whole hook up & color coordination of that outfit.
Actually yes... When I do my wash/wet & go's, I take my moisturizing conditioner mixed (with 3 fav oils) and add to water in a water bottle to make a creamy/watery leave-in conditioner then spray on my hair prior to putting my EcoStyler gel to make my curl definition... I guess you haven't came across my wash & go tutorial yet???
I had my hair in 4 big cornrows going back afer moisturizing it with my conditioning moisturizer I make with Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Conditioner mixed with Olive, Coconut & Avocado oils on damp hair. That's why the puff look long cuz with the BIG cornrows the hair gets stretched more.
Oh my gosh I LOVE that french braid style!!! I might try that one out IF I can find the patience lol.

How long have you been transitioning? I transitioned for about a year before I cut off my relaxed ends. I couldn't do the cold turkey BC.

I think I get my best curl definition on hair that is rewet with 2 to 3 days worth of product already in it.

Just beautiful! How do you get your puff to look so long and full? My 4ab hair only stands up if I plait it down the night before.

oh and I sealed the hair with oil after moisturizing it to keep the moisture in. The puff was so soft all day long.
