  • Epynt was once one of the areas where Welsh culture, especially the Welsh language, was persistent and strong. The British Ministry of Defence effectively destroyed the area after WW2, using the area for weapons testing.

Also, in 2001, the English dumped and incinerated thousands of cattle carcasses there as a result of the foot and mouth epidemic. Huge pyres of burning flesh resulting in giant clouds of dioxins and other good stuff...

See how the coloniser behaves as he pleases?

  • oh get a grip you bunch of sad gimps and stop being soo factual! Saddo's. Gruff, the Irish lad is ace!

  • he's not irish. he's welsh

  • As a band together they are incredible - the first song was ok, didnt go down that well with the crowd, which was a shame.

  • damn i wish there was the complete gwn mi wn track... he's amazing live

  • Sorry, forgot to post that the incomplete first track is 'Gwn Mi Wn' ('Yes I Know').

  • The main song here is 'Epynt' (the 'E' is for 'Euro', the 'pynt' is for 'Pound', and 'Epynt' is also a mountain in Wales...) off the 'Yr Atal Genhedlaeth' album.

    Great stuff!

  • Cheers for that! I'll update the desciption..
