watching this makes me even more amazed at paco de lucia's performance of this song. this captures almost none of the power displayed in paco's rendition.
your videos are excellent! I can actually see and clearly hear what is going on. Im actually learning and capturing the flavor of each clip. excellent way to "build" a learning series Mario.
It's technically good but a bit stiff. I don't know if that's because it is the conclusion to the instructional clips. In that case it makes the actions and notes clear. Too bad it still lacks that real flamenco swing (in my opinion).
@bassoonfoto 100% right i would say it sounds more like a classical peice he doesent have at at all what flamencistas call la aire de flamenco maby cuz he is white lol what really annoys me though is the this guy cant play real flamenco style himself and teaches
I see what you mean but he breaks it down and makes it understandable for us non-Gypsies, because the real flamencistas play too darn fast and all you see of their right hand is a blur. Of course this interpretation here is without the burning passion of flamenco, no question about it.
