I love the SVT, but sadly people hate it for some reason. I agree it's a great gun, but sadly I only have silencer on it D: I'm trying to get the sight though. It's a great gun for pros, but not so much for beginners because you need a good trigger finger in close range and good accuracy for long range.

Paul, you hit the nail on the head. The moment making gameplay videos and commentaries went from being people's hobbies to being a possible job and money making opportunity it brought it tons of people who only care about the money aspect of it, and because they only care about the money they put out bad content as often as possible because they know they will (or can) make money off of it.

To be honest Paul, you may not think that your videos are great but 10,000 people care enough to watch your posts. I started watching commentaries since they first started and for about a year I kept trying to find more people to watch. Nowadays however, I stick to BT (and his face to face friends like you and Frank), Xcal, Pyro, zer0din (if he ever posts) iBlesS3d Sam5K, Trout, Hutch and SeaNanners pretty much because everyone's doing the same stuff.

I don't like that community at the moment. Reason being the are people on machinima who don't deserve it, and the are people that are just in it for the money.

The reason I started commentating was that I wanted to start and be a part of the community. I have been watching cod vids from about a month after blame truth posted his first commentary.

The main reason I hate all the money grabbers is it means people like me will never be able to be a part of the community, as we are lost in the crowd.

@GamingLifestyle I don't think machinima should shut down, but they need to be more strict on which commentators they should offer contracts to. I've seen hundreds of videos on machinima and about 80-90% of the videos are the same, huge matches with average commentary. In one video that I remember seeing, the commentator said it was his lifelong dream to be a machinima director. WTF is up with that??

Machinima will get too big for itself and may have to cut a ton of directors.

Something small gets big, money is introduced, then that thing gets corrupted. I know people say who say Machinima is a money whore, which I never understood. Machinima pays all the 'random, horrible commentators' that so many speak of.
