  • Ok just watch the video and he should of said you need to select the 3rd hard brush and it will do it

  • Awesome! Keep it up! Very good!

  • THANK YOU!!!!!

  • if your having a problem with brush not geting thiner click the brush icon and then click the another brush icon in the top left corner and set to airbrush 50% flow.Or just decrease the flow to 50% in brush options (ENGLISH NOT NATIVE)

  • thx

  • Very nice.

  • This really helped, Thanks dudee!<3

  • 1:28 when i click on gradient overlay i get a different selection to you....

  • Great work man. keep it up

  • I heard it as "Octotits" Not "OctoTuts"

    Something's wrong with me..

  • going well until 3:07 when i cannot choose a colour???

  • o my gosh i could cry!!!! i had to look through all the comments but i figured out how to do this right. amazingness!!!!!!! i have boon looking for how to fade the line out for almost a 3 mouths now and was about to give up!!!!! so happy!

  • keep it up guys, your tutorials are really good. cheers

  • How do i change pen tool size?

  • Thank you so much for this video! I liked it a lot! :)

  • I can make that in paint.net for $700 less in less time

  • xD The Octo! xD HAHA

  • You should've shown the brush settings too. :/

  • it doesnt look glowy and also im not saying the way you did it was not good but in my opinion unles you want a perfectly curved line cyou cold have jusst drawn it instead of using the curve tool

  • cant*

  • Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! Still can make a curved line!!!!!!

  • @MouseSunGi , are you sure you filled you path first?

  • Not knocking your skills but alot of the things you show us veiwers, (such as the examples) are very simple but you make it look soooooo easy <3

  • how did u get it to fade

  • Thanks this a great amount

  • FUCKING LOVE YOU :)

  • wtf you get thin line i got thick how can i change that

  • You seem to have got a bit of a hard time from some posters. I liked the tutorial, it was concise and informative, well done!

  • My lines are also not thinner, and how do u add gradient to the line

  • Why my line didnt become thinner at the bot ends

  • When i made my line the line is same size in the sides too, i need the thinner sides

  • @IFzGaming Click on the BRUSH PRESET and look for the one that starts tiny and ends tiny.

I used the "Round Point Stiff" brush.

  • i love your tutorials man god bless you

  • But this is way too easy

  • Figure out on our own? go fuck urself

  • @sonikk4eva lol

  • Can you help me cause i cant click on strokepath nothin happens when i click it

  • How do i get this fucking "Stroke path" to be highlighted? ...it wont let me push it.

  • @fargenface at the top bar just click ''Path'' then you can do it...

  • Thanks :D It helped me much :)

  • When I right click "Delete Path", it deletes the line I've made too

  • @MouseSunGi To avoid that, just after stroking the path, select the Path Selection Tool, click off the line and press Backspace..That should do it :)

  • @MouseSunGi You don't even need to delete the path, just deselect it.

  • @MouseSunGi That only happens if you didn't stroke path first watch 2:33 to fix this

  • @MouseSunGi The other way to remove the line is, After doing Simulate Pressure , select Pen Tool (P) again and click Esc(Escape. it will remove the path.

  • @MouseSunGi click stroke path, then delete.

  • How the heck does the pen tool work im using cs4 but im really confused if anyone could help me out this would be very apreciated

  • why does my line not get thinner? i made the pen 5 pixels and 100% hard, and did everything right. checked simulate pressure and everything. wtf?

  • @AtactHD Make a layer mask and use a gradient.

  • @AtactHD hardness put 0% instead of 100%

  • @AtactHD I had the same problem. In the brush toolbar at the top the screen, all the way to the right you need to make sure the "Tablet Pressure Controls Size" button is on. Button looks like pencil in the middle of a target

  • @monatonejon69 not working

  • @monatonejon69 thanks I been looking for the solution to make the line fade, Thanks a lot :)

  • @AtactHD You have to go onto the brush settings & set the control mode to fade, I think.

  • @AtactHD Mine as well...

  • @AtactHD , Your document size or resolution may be lower, try reducing the brush size little more and then Simulate pressure.

  • Comment removed

  • @AtactHD I found a way to fix that!

You have to go to your bruchsettings and hit the `Transfer´ button.

    I works!

  • for all those who get the line one size throughout remember to use the correct brush which is hard round pressure

  • @Anselnancoo thanks man

  • Pads window?

  • @EagleAndTheApple1191 Window > Paths

  • i cant select stroke path...:(

  • How did you make the glowing lines as the thumbnail of this youtube video? how did you do it?

  • Tutorial starts at 1:50

  • I used this yesterday, and it worked fine, but now when I try, it fills the whole page in. What am I doing wrong?

  • my line is 1 size all the way! and i have simulate pressure on D:

  • @TheTwisterMusic I did like u said too but its still just a normal line with no simmulate pressure effect on it. is there anything wrong with my brush tip settings??

  • what my line isnt pointy nor the color changes, it just stays white in the middle and the color is not noticable

  • I used this the other day, it was fine

Now the line doesnt go thin at one end, help?

  • Great tutorial, thanks so much!!!!

  • Ur awsome

  • when i do it, it doesnt do a fade sorta line where it fades out into nothing at the edges.. mines just a full on hard line? help?

  • DAMN IT

I ACCIDENTALLY CLICKED THE DISLIKE BUTTON. Subtract one dislike if you're counting >.<

  • @fireemblemtard9 just click like and the dislike goes away

  • Why does my line not thin out in the end? stimulate pressure is checked.

  • @IcyFX try unchecking it, and also make sure its on Brush

  • @TheCompGame i've got the same problem, it used to do it before but not now, im using brush tool i have it checked and in my brush settings its on pen pressure... someone help..? please? :(

  • @IcyFX if you've read my previous post, dont mind it, but for some reason my photoshop kept unticking shape dynamics (brush tool settings) .. you must have the control on penn pressure i (in shape dynamics) on the brush options AND have simulate pressure ticked.

    Hope this helped

  • Omg, he,is,so,cool, ;)

  • Thanks man!!!!!! People like u should be giving Tutorial. Keep it up :)

  • to make the ends fade out u have to click the 5th brush in the 1st row (3rd soft brush). appearently all 6 of the defaults there have different effects.

  • When i press delete path it deletes the whole line?

  • Comment removed

  • could u create a tutorial on how u made the image with the advanced coloured lines...

  • ok, for the people who dont have a apple and doing it on a pc..(cause thats wats i have) ... when u go into shape dynamics ,change Control to "PEN TILT" and put Minium Diameter to 10% and Tilt Scale to 200%...thats how i have to do it...for now >.>... <3

  • My line won't get pointy at the ends even if I have checked the simulate pressure on!!!!Why is this happening? Please anybody can help?

  • @XBlackTulipX Thats happening to me aswell, it doesnt fade out at the ends. :(:(

  • @ThaatPenguin You know after my comment I tried to find out why is this happening and I think that I have figured something. Try to work on quite big documents. Something like width: 11 cm, height: 7 cm and resolution at least 300 pixels/inch and when you use your pen tool make sure that you have check the exclude overlapping path areas which is located up right at your computer screen! Let me know if this worked on you as well. :)

  • @ThaatPenguin me too T_T

  • when i make a glow line using pen tool, its edges aren't sharp. edges are of same size as in middle of the line. plz anybody can help?

  • nevermind... i found it... :)

  • Comment removed

  • im trying to make that now.. but my ends woundt be pointy! and i have marked the simulated pressure

  • How did you get the rainbow of colours in your image with the multiple lines?

  • how can i do it on a picture i drew... it doesnt work for me... can u draw a picture then try using the glowing lines a tutorial?

  • how is your line pointy at the ends?

  • @iJokaa check 'simulate pressure'

  • @FataIDreamz I've lived in America all my life, if that is terrible english to you, then I don't know what you expect.

  • @octotuts you just slur sounds together, make awkward pauses and pronunciations, and sort of stammer.

  • @octotuts

lol. wow. You have really good English.

  • @octotuts just because you lived in America all your life doesn't mean you're English is that great.

  • @FataIDreamz Why are you hating on his voice :S There is no need really... Btw nice tutorial :)

  • @FataIDreamz this guy is trying to help people, and you criticize his voice. Good thing not everyone is like you, because then no living person in the world would like to be helpful.

  • @FataIDreamz wtf you on about? peasant.
