  • I hope you dont drop your new camera in the pond!! DOH! LOL!

  • its great for emergency phone numbers...survival wild food notes in case of emergency

  • what kind of ball point pen (not the space pen) was that it looked pretty crazy.

  • That fat purple one? I dunno, pulled it out of the kid's stuff. It writes pretty decently though!

  • that rite in the rain pen is just a black fisher space pen....

  • Rite in the Rain collaborated with Fisher Space Pen Co. to design a pen with an ink formulation to work well with their paper and in wet conditions. So, you're partially correct.

  • @RoscoeBa

hmmm...maybe,i don't know.you could be right, but the regular old space pens write under water too and have the same ink cartrige...at least mine does

  • or you could just do it moises style and write in stone.

  • lol Good idea. How do you etch in the stone though...?

  • good demo.

  • Thank you, Billy.

  • Roz, Loved the vid. I can't wait to use this stuff. I've lost so mant Haikus in the rain, or washed them away with my tears.

    "Soaked ink and paper

My tears have ruined my words

    Now you'll be preserved."

  • Bill, I'm taking my Fisher pen back. You bad.

  • I'm sure the source paper for RITR is Xerox NeverTear. It was developed for the military over 25 years ago and I got a box of whole blank sheets from a rep back then. Brilliant stuff. Originally it was just called polyester paper but is now marketed as NeverTear. I've printed on it and run abrasion tests and it resists extremely well. You can also deep freeze it while wet for weeks and it'll just shrug off the ice. Assuming it's the stuff, you need RITR/XNT for the outdoors.

  • That's really good info, Tom. Thx for sharing. What will you do when the box runs out??

  • i tried rating your vid ten stars, didn't work out

  • Thx Tube. :-D

  • With my hobby of Geocaching, I've came across several logsheets made with this stuff. It works fantastic in caches that may not have been made to be waterproof. Tough stuff! I too use a Fisher. Damn! Best pen ever made!

BTW Very nice vid with demo.

  • I love my Fisher too. Geocaching is a perfect application for this stuff.

  • Nice vid Roz think I'm going to take a leaf from your book which in this case is a RITR and write down my walks travels etc.I like you are big into my hiking and really just being outdoors. Living in a little village on the edge of Dartmoor Devon England it rains a lot here (raining at the moment) this note book will I'm sure come in handy.

I really like the review you did on the EDC pouch! I think I will buy one and find a nice RITR to go in it.

    Regards David

  • Hiya Dave. I'm way late responding to comments but I'm pretty sure I saw some RITR in your YouTube vids since. :-)

  • Argh, so true! No diss intended. Just representative of the "regular" stuff we all have and use (and really the first notebook I found laying around the house).

Just tore a piece of RITR for ya and it tears nice and tight and straight. Thx guys!

  • Hey, why are you picking on poor Mead paper! They never claimed to be water resistant. You gonna go after Big Chief next? j/k

Cool review - 5 stars! How easy is it to tear?

  • Cool stuff Roz.... those space pens are great !!! Well done VID

  • More good stuff from the 'Jersey GIrl" I picked up some RITR pads a few weeks ago and added them to my EDC & GHB.

    Keep the good stuff coming!!
