well ive never heard or used the jvc kaboom but from its looks it probably isnt but then again the jvc kabooom isnt a stereo dock its just a huge boombox so...
im goin to have to say YES because mine works great and i havent had any issues with it so far, plus its better quality for your money compared to the other cheaper ones out there for the zune

it's a sub isn't "loud"
that sub is for the lower portion of the song but yes, it is VERY high in quality. i would rate it 5/5 for all iPod/Zune applications.
