it's easy to for rats to love cats when they have toxoplasmosa. its a bacterial disease that cats carry and is targeted at rats, but people can get it too. in people, it is mostly benign. in rats, it makes them ATTRACTED to cats, which spreads the bacteria among other cats when the rats get eaten. try it sometime. put a rat in a dirty litterbox and within a few days, it will go looking for cats to hang out with.
