I am dutch, but still I can't understand how you can say it's a good tackle. He comes in with one leg stretched but with his other he completely cracks ben arfa's leg. De jong was a great player at AJAX, but in England he changed in a complete idiot.
I have to disagree, he didnt change in England. As a german Hamburg supporter i can tell you that he already did some really horrible tacklings in his time here playing for HSV - the difference is, that some of his opponents had incredible luck...
@afcajax033 He hasn't gone in studs raised, he hasn't come in risen visibly off the ground, he has clearly played the ball well before he makes contact with the man, he comes across the player (rather than directly into causing the two players momentum's to create a bigger impact). I agree with you for the most part that De Jong has become a malicious player since he moved to England, but the challenge on Ben Arfa, although slightly unnecessary, was completely within the rules of the game.

People like Ben Afa who haven't the skill to ride a tackle need to be kicked out of the premiership before they get hurt. Just as people who don't know how to block shouldn't be competing in sport karate.
