  • Great man! But this video should be called... "and your bird can't sing" :)

  • @EDCY8 LOL!! Very clever, I never thought of that. Thanks for the comment!!! BSP

  • I think you're putting us on. This sounds exactly like a MIDI file I downloaded about 8 or 9 years ago.

  • @mraybeck

I guess that's the ultimate compliment if you thought the MIDI file you heard was by The Beatles. I can assure you my friend that this version was just me in my home studio playing everything you hear. I recorded and uploaded it in July of 2007. Thanks for commenting!!!!!!!!!!! BSP

  • good!!! What are the chords? "When your prize possessions start to weigh you down

Look in my direction, I'll be round, I'll be round " help mee!!!

  • @lolibertostar Thanks!! BSP

  • EPIC!!!!

  • Thank you my friend!!!! BSP

  • guess getting the guitar right takes some hours of figuring out. I like to dabble with it just from memory and never seem to get it right, but also have never sat down to really iock in the fingering. and besides, it probably can be done really well only with two guitars or overdub and trying to do it all on one guitar is A LOT of finger bending...

  • Great playing, I think George & John or George & Paul play the harmony guitars on this. What kind of recorder do you use. I have a Roland 16 trk digital work station.

with built in CD burner. Its like 4yrs old now, Time to step up to 24 trk! Im like you, I play all the instruments.I recorded Hey Bulldog once. On me Baldwin Piano. But mainly I write my own stuff... How about you?

  • I don't know the name of the software. My son sat at the computer and recorded me as I played. Most of my songs were recorded on an old Teac 2340 or a Tascam Studio-8. Thanks for your comment. BSP

  • Great guitar work on a very difficult Beatle song. Very impressive!!!

  • Thank you peter. BSP

  • This is so good. How long did it take you to learn to play this song? I own a Vox amp too.

  • That' a good question, either a few hours or my entire life LOL!! BSP

  • It's amazing... sounds like the Four themselves had recorded it way back in '66 - stunning!

  • why yes it does

  • Fab

  • Did you play this yourself or is it the original instrumentals?

  • Everything you hear is played and recorded by me JPM4ever. I own all of the "Beatle" guitars and amps. They are essential in order to get the right sound. I bet you would like my Hofner bass, it is like Pauls, the little violin shaped "Beatle Bass". I just bought a Vox AC100 amp which is what they used at the Shea Stadium concert.

  • That's great. I would love to own a hofner bass if it was cheap LOL. But I don't know how to play guitar or bass. I only played drums.

  • Cool JPM4ever, I didn't know you were a drummer!! You can buy a Hofner copy pretty cheap, but it's just not having the real thing. Even if you can't play it, a Hofner 500/1 is a "must have" for any home. You can just display it proudly under some track lighting for all of your guest to admire. You could google "Hofner 500/1" and at least print off a picture of one to frame and proudly hang on your wall.

  • My Hofner was made in the 20th week of 1968. I bought it from a friend in 1986 and only paid $400 for it. I could easily get $2000, maybe $2200 for it on Ebay, but of course I would never sell it. I have left instructions in my will for it to be placed in my casket with me. I bet your thinking "Wow, just how fucked up is this guy?" LOL!! BSP

  • LOL nah :)

  • gorgeous parrot? When will he sing for us!! Sounds are great!

  • He already did! Go back to my channel and check out the other version "And Your Bird Can Sing - with vocals - Stereo." My friend Dave added the vocals.

  • clever!! your bird is gorgeous with such intense colors. He is a star in his own way. Yes and you I like this very much - you play a good tune.

  • Thank you. I appreciate that!!

  • Nice tracks. In this case, it looks like your bird can't sing!

  • Actually he can Mark, he said he'd prefer to do one of Pauls.

  • Your bird is beautiful! Hope you're feeling better soon as I see comments. Nice strumming

  • Thank you CowGirliee, I'm glad you liked my bird!!

  • Beautiful bird so colorful and great strumming. Wishing you well.

  • Just like the record...when are the vocals coming?

  • I'll be better doc as soon as I am able.

  • Can't wait till you get to feeling better.

  • Thanks doc, I think you'll be surprised at my solution for my throat problem!!
