  • This is the problem, some of us don't think that we need others! Until we face the reality that each one needs one, we will continue to be doomed! The Bible doesn't teach us to turn our backs on our neighbors, and yet reading some of these comments ....I wonder how many are truly christians?

  • last comment i agrree, when it comes to invading other countries and waging war theres suddenly massive loads of money to be printed, the debt of that is dumped on the citizens middel-class and poor. when it comes to poverty and hunger, not even the black man president of america who was picked on "change" picks up the phone.

obama till now has only been about wallstreet and wars and debt ceilings. nothing more.

  • @No1Rides4Free

Hey cuntstain. You're taking up space on the planet that could be better used to store vates of diseased diarrhoea.

That's right. Your existence has less value than even a vat of diseased diarrhoea.

You are a waste of space. You should ahve been aborted. You parents should be embarrassed and ashamed for creating you.

You're a disgusting, revolting creature with no empathy. As such, you're an enemy of humankind. Now fuck off back to your trailer, you filthy, bigoted, leech.

People like you that suppresses their anger for so long isnt good

  • Lets eliminate all social programs and let the poor fend for themselves. They will either die or find a way to survive....of course there are not enough jobs for them all so I wonder what will happen....I hope none of you live near any poor ppl when we eliminate all these programs and I hope none of your family are poor or live near poor. I'll give you a hint they will be thrown in jail where we will pay $40,000 or more a year for each one instead of the $8000 a year they get in welfare lol.

  • every facet of society allows the poor to be manipulated, abused, and debilitated by their "help" through the welfare system..society is extremely perverse, including the poor

  • all you people are ignorant and uneducated..just because the welfare system is flawed and allows itself to be manipulated doesn't mean that everyone receiving it is doing so. Car insurance, medical insurance(both mandated by law, the latter not until 2013) electric bills and rent. NECESSITIES. You're only given "allowances" it's simply a portion of what amount the applicant ACTUALLY pays. So the gov monitors your budget and gives you some food stamps that are barely a help. the poor are so lucky

  • Unfortunately neither of these two men understands economics.

They want what everyone wants, they just have no idea how to get there, but act like they do.

  • @treysparker They understand that tax cuts don't create jobs. the best way to create jobs is the government making infrastructure projects and creating things we need. We did it during FDR presidency and he put pressure on the rich and the rich actually didn't suffer that much and actually the middle class helped to sustain the rich's wealth. Problem is no one on Washington wants to do what they need to do to get the job done.

  • The poor have it very well of. My best friend is on welfare, doesnt work, and frankly he doesnt have to, he makes more than enough from the government.

What a broken system we have.

  • @treysparker Your best friend sounds lucky! I guess you would be better off if you got fired then right? Doesn't that make you pretty dumb for not getting fired or quitting your job asap? If the poor or so well off its very easy to join their ranks so why isn't everyone rushing to get rid of their income?

  • Stop you bitchin'. You got microwave ovens.

Yes, your food is poison. You water is poisoned. You schools are a joke. You have to live in areas where the environment is poisoned.

But hey. You bitches got cellphones and microwave ovens. Stop you bitchin'.

  • "We ruined the economy and increased our own wealth in the process, shrunk the middle class, expanded the poor... people are angry. What do we do? ... I KNOW, we do what we always do, we blame the people who had the least to do with any of it... BLAME THE POOR!"

  • wow...they basically prove the point that the poor are being demonized by saying basically saying the president represents everyone but he doesn't. He doesn't represent the poor for they aren't represented anymore.

  • @Maxpound I guess they don't include "everyone" with poor.

  • It must have been Michelle Bachmann or the other dumbass Sarah Palin who wrote that letter i.e. typical Republican trash, who are out of touch with reality.

  • misery merchants!

  • OBAMA IS FOR OBAMA AND WALL STREET ,BY HIS OWN ACTIONS, OBAMA HAVE ( SOLD ) THE MIDDLE CLASS WHO PAY MOST OF THE TAXES AND THE

POOR ( OUT ) TO WAR FOR PROFIT AND WALL STREET

  • "There's class warfare, all right, but it's my class, the rich class, that's making war, and we're winning."

    - Warren E. Buffet, 2005

''When the people shall have nothing more to eat, they will eat the rich.''

    - Jean-Jacques Rousseau

  • You don't have a Congressman a senator or police department because they all belong to the rich elite police puts our young men and women in jail to support the prison industrial Corporation they use our armies to plunder the world we haven't fought for freedom since World War II we only have mercenaries now that's why no one is concerned about dead soldiers the rich do not care about young men they will kill them for profit

  • @KYKIN44 Amen! Great comment!

  • Obama = Gore = Clinton = Bush 1 = Bush 2 = Reagan = Kerry = Inhofe = Rohrbacher all subhuman shitheads who need to be annihilated.

Vote for a Mathematically Optimized Set of Laws!

(not just for the economy but for every human and non-human action)

Until then, vote Green Party! Vote for Ralph Nader for President 2012!

Hell - if you can't do THAT, then at least WRITE-IN YOUR OWN FUCKING NAME FOR EVERY OFFICE!

  • @mphello = Rockefeller = Hitler. No more NWO pawns. We need to take our country back.

  • @blazestudios23 Amen! Yes - my list could go on.

That's why I suggest everyone write-in their own names, because at least that way, their views will match closest to that of the candidate for whom they're voting. The voter will never agree fully with any other candidate.

  • @mphello We do need a leader. But our leader needs to represent the people not some elite group of psycho paths.

  • I don't expect or want the government to DO anything for me.

I just don't want them to DO anything AGAINST me.

I don't demand the gov't to steal from the rich to give to me.

I demand the gov't not get in the way while *I* steal from the rich,

while *I* do the work of taking resources from the rich,

the same way the rich hunt and murder animals for food (I'm vegan),

who don't owe the rich just because the rich are hungry.

THAT is the true libertarian, true "natural" way.

  • The biggest leaches on society are the rich. They steal from working people through the wage system and then they steal from them again through the tax system. Meanwhile they destroy the environment with their greed and cause untold death and suffering throughout the world with their for-profit wars (at your expense) and their neo-colonial economic policies.

  • @bluesenshi Amen! Bravo! Keep up the good fight!

  • There are only 2 options for the poor and declining middle class:

    starve/go homeless,

or take a completely USELESS WORTHLESS government "job" - e.g. the DEA or the NSA - get paid BIG welfare - to either do something that wastes money and energy at best or terrorizes and kidnaps (imprison) people for no good reason (DEA, marijuana) at worst.

  • @mphello I know, because one of my close relatives had to make that terrible choice, and got a job at one of these INSANELY OBSCENELY over-funded agencies of the USA. He HATES his job, knows it is COMPLETELY WORTHLESS to society, but that is his ONLY choice to survive, because the USA gov't and fucked-up politicians cave into bankers, destroy all USEFUL CRITICAL work (spay and neuter cats and dogs, fight climate change, research development manufacturing in nanotech), and make all jobs...

  • @mphello .. be bullshit SECURITY or FINANCIAL MONEY-PUSHING-AROUND jobs!

Get this through your fucking skulls, libertarians and conservaturds and teabaggers:

THERE IS NO DISTINCTION BETWEEN WELFARE VS A GOVERNMENT JOB!

THE MONEY IN EITHER CASE IS STOLEN FROM THE TAXPAYER!

THERE IS ONLY A DISTINCTION BETWEEN A USEFUL VS A USELESS (OR DESTRUCTIVE) ACTIVITY!

AND DIFFERENCES ONLY IN MAGNITUDE OF PAY!

STOP WITH THE BULLSHIT SEMANTICS ("welfare = bad, job = good")!

  • corp. media sucks, they are defending the poor cause they are poor and the poor have no voice in the political atmosphere. the rich does. they are called lobbyist. fight against stupity call them out on it. just reading a script isnt journalism, and having half a brain helps.

  • WTF :@:@@

'' the poor dont pay taxes''

BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO MONEY BITCH

    CORPORATIONS DONT PAY TAXES. FUCK.FUCK.FUCK.FUCK

  • @Ja1Mac

If you make under 15k a year the IRS sends you a check for $5k

No reason not to file a 1040!! right?

  • @Salvysahagun

dont forget poor people lack in education and the shortage of money makes them greedy for every cent.

some dont know how to file taxes, most have it taken out of their bank accounts. Now when you take 5K from a poor person which is used on other bills and food, it still makes it harder for them to clime up the class ladder thus keeping the cycle in a loop..

BLAME THE SYSTEM, NOT THE POOR PEOPLE

their doing a good job not paying the irs, half the tax money goes towards the war.

  • @Ja1Mac

Its really not that hard to file a 1040 bro.

  • Screw both Smiley and West. Just because your poor doesn't automatically make you a sympathetic figure.

  • Comment removed

  • The poor collect handouts while the rich devour the crops of the middle class. In other words, the only people who suffer are the middle class. I won't say fuck the poor, but I can say to fuck a segment of the rich class.

  • I raise my children on welfare Thank God It was there for a safety Net for Us or we would be in the streets and on drugs and whatever else to survive. Some people have misused it and they call them welfare Queens. But not all people on welfare are frauds.

  • @BurnessGuidry773

If it wasn't for welfare you'd be on drugs???

  • People NEED to realize that 90% of the mega-rich (those with a net worth exceeding $100 million dollars) in the U.S. have amassed their ridiculous fortunes, almost exclusively via illegal means; whether it’s insider-trading, anti-trust actions, racketeering, market manipulation, or through any of the other countless FRAUDULANT schemes they’ve perfected! But, how can this be you ask? Simple, they own the government regulatory agencies, most political figures, & all M.S. Media outlets. Got it?!

  • let me try one last time.

Federal income tax is only one of the many we pay. we also pay...blah blah blah of which our share is far greater than wealthy people pay proportional to their income.

Tax dodgers are not those who take advantage of the tax code, only the ones who avoid it altogether with off shore accounts and slick lawyers.

So, Bro, if you want to continue your hollow arguments defending those who are fucking us all(including you) best of luck.I've wasted too much time on your ilk.

  • @snarkishone

To me an Personal Income Tax evader is not a criminal but a patriot.

  • How do you want the President to fix the problem: "he needs to call poor people poor. Address it as poverty."

    ??? what ???

  • 'What are they complaining about?'

THEY'RE FUCKING POOR! God for Cornell West and Tavis Smiley for slapping this corporate shill around. I cannot believe how biased she is. I suppose that's what corporate media calls 'balance'.

  • blame the poor? how rediculous, the poor did not invent welfare. Welfare was invented by our government to keep blacks out of the middle class. Retierd government workers collect more money in benifits when combined, than all the citizen programs combined. and now private companys are getting benifits from the government to the tune of trillions in bailouts after they took trillions and drove their companys broke.

  • Kill that slut-bitch. Rape her to death. That would be hilarious.

And, if you don't like this suggestion, well I don't know what you're complaining about. She never did a day of work in her life. She just lives off corporate handouts.

  • This woman is a biased shithead. Why does she cite some report from the Heritage Foundation? Why not a report from the World Workers Party?

What about the rich? Why do THEY do nothing but complain and cry if they can't get another billion? And, they STOLE their money from the taxpayer in the FIRST PLACE in the form of free corporate-welfare handouts, dumb cunt bitch!

  • @mphello calling people names doesn't change anything. I agree with you, but we can not win by bringing it to that level.

  • @awake4life As long as you are logically consistent with what you said, and in no way condemn an individual or refuse to listen to them just because they are a "criminal" or "terrorist" or "child molestor". What matters is the sum total of good and bad each individual does or TRIES to do, in spite of opposition.

All else is worthless bullshit, and I would annihilate all culture and all life on earth if that's what it took to make it logically consistent. Hope that won't be necessary.

  • Welfare is a trap that sucks in entire families.

  • Do what you people do best, riot.

  • Roboeconomics

  • Thanks for your input..look at this news woman - she is so well versed at slamming the poor- smug/arrogant/mean/deep on a shallow ideal - and she will say- Oh well I'm playing the devils advocate, bull!

  • But what they seem not to take into account is that no REAL CUTS were made!! 1 trillion dollars over 10 years?! This congress won't even be around to enforce it. It's a charade.

  • "The poor get dumped on, the poor get piled on, the poor get demonized..." The same can be said for the rich. Like the poor, many who are rich are classed as greedy and lazy. Many of the wealthy in the US are self-made. And self-made from starting a business: not from the dubious financial markets. Class warfare is nonsense. But they are right: the poor will be big losers in this deal. The biggest losers? The middle-class. The greatest source of tax revenue. Play on Nero. Play on.

  • @junemem

Fuck you, you house slave. The rich have everything better, by default you idiot. And their share of GDP and wealth has grown while their tax burden has fallen for more than 30 years, with only the Clinton years as a reprieve.

It's really simple, stupid. They have the luxury of needing and often desiring to consume a much smaller percentage of their income and wealth than the poor. Hence, the subjective value of each dollar is less. There's no reason not to tax the wealthy more.

  • @AntiSchiff You have a lot of bitch in you Instead of having an adult exchange you stamp your feet like a spoiled undisciplined child as if it makes for a stronger argument You didn't address 1 thing I posted Not 1 If I am seen as a slave by one of your logic that's a label I can live with Now go to the mailbox and get your check I have work to do I won't be responding to you again If it wasn't for the middle-class and rich you wouldn't have anyone for the IRS to steal money from on your behalf

  • @AntiSchiff AMEN!

The majority of people are too stupid to do mathematical modelling. They don't get the fact the utility function,

v(x), for x-dollars, need NOT be linear in x. v(1) could be enormous: your last dollar, which you'd have to spend on food or a drink of water. Since it is reasonable to asume that v is monotonic nondecreasing function of x, we can't have v(1) = 10^9 and v(10^9) = 10^9 with v(x)<10^9 for some x somewhere in between.

Hence, strictly, we need an x and a y:

  • @mphello x = dollars you have

y = dollars you need to buy the things you need

In fact, we just need a utility function v(x1,x2,x3,...) for each of the things we need:

    x1=food

    x2= clean water

    x3= freedom

    x4=privacy

    etc

  • Cornel West is a worded rendition of Category 6 Hurricane! LMFAO

  • C. West is da Man!!!!!

  • AMAN "

  • JESUS DON'T LIKE THIS "

  • GOD / JESUS DON'T LIKE IT "

  • lol, I have never heard so many lies in a 6 min video

  • the poverty pimps tried to go to detroit,MI today for their scam called "the poverty tour" and ran into a surprised group of President Obama supporters that was hip to their scam. Thease two are just on a self-serving,self-promotion tour to not only undermine the black community, but try to undermine President Obama as well. also some of west & smiley's sponsors are ALEC. Yes anti-progressive everything. So they're to with "the corporate plutocrats,& the wall street oligarchs". Silly Rabbits!!

  • We need Bernie Sanders and Ron Paul to run together.

  • All "poor" people have the choice to go to college for free or join the military and better themselves. What do poor people usually choose? They choose the "ENTITLEMENTS," over college and military service.

  • @ForceOfWizardry You are a moron

  • @ForceOfWizardry Uh, no...the poor don't usually HAVE the choice to go to college...to do that, you have to be able to pay the ever-increasing tuition.

And a lot of them do join the military, but it usually doesn't "better" them worth a damn.

Almost nobody CHOOSES to be on welfare. The vast majority of the jobless would work if there was work where they are-and most can't afford to travel the country looking for work.

  • This bitch needs a slap in the face of reality.

  • Well i'm poor, and i can tell you most poor people are not worth a fuck. They have kids they can't take care of and just get free government money. Society has been engineered to keep poor people down but most don't even try, this subject is a lot more complex than what peoples opinions would have you believe.

    Down with the Communist pigs!!!

  • I'm saddened to see working class white folks having their fear an bigotries exploited by the elite.

The hateful elitist propaganda of the Reagan era of "welfare queens" and similar b.s. is NOT what is draining America dry.

Quit being tools white people! You have INFINITELY more in common with poor and working class people of color that you do with the rich! You need to do the one revolutionary thing that has yet to happen in America - for workers of ALL COLORS TO UNITE!

  • @MrWagwaniify White meat is right!

  • Government giving handouts by stealing money from other people via taxes and inflation is unconstitutional and lacks any kind of logic

  • @drunkenboxer1985 government injecting capital into neglected segments of the population in order to have a functioning and prosperous society sounds plenty logical to me....

    its all in the wording.

  • @alwayzAngry Politicians play semantics all the time and simple minded people are easily pray to it.

  • fuck that dumb bitch and CNN!!

  • shoot that bitch in the face

  • she sounds racist!

  • "Race based employment programs"??? WTF does that mean??? More RACISM towards whites in this nation??? Total bullshit!!!

  • @gunloc26

The truth is that the legacy of history weighs down upon the black community in a disproportionate way.

HOWEVER - the truth is that most attempts at present to "racialize" poverty are really divide-and-conquer tactics of elites against the poor and working class of ALL COLORS.

So while I think you're misguided in perceiving some kind of mass "racism" against white people in America - I do agree that the "colorizing" of poverty at this point is misguided and divisive.

  • @gunloc26 yeah....helping minorities is much less beneficial than hanging them and degrading them for a few hundred years.

    Lolz

  • @AgrivatedKillah Really, still playing the victim...in the 21st century. Too funny! Martin Luther King Jr would be so proud!

  • Got to wrap it up once truth is being thrown in your face huh? figures.

  • The rich and the lucky 1:55 Fuck you asshole. The rich and the hardworking you fuckin whining asshole

  • @TheRetiredtrucker

"Hard working"? You honestly believe America is a meritocracy?

    You foolish little tool...

  • @RemoveYourChains The majority of those who have wealth have worked for it you pathetic peon, now back to your shift at Starbucks

  • @TheRetiredtrucker

NO ONE can become a "millionaire" relative to the majority of the population (let alone a billionaire) through the exercise of honest labor.

Such incomes are invariably the consequence of USURIOUS economic transactions - interest lending, rents, speculation, gambling, and the siphoning of the surplus labor value of workers one pays less than their economic out-put. That's not even counting the trust fund brats and other nepotists, insiders, and cronies.

  • @RemoveYourChains Not true Oh name tag wearer. There was a reason why the majority of the self made millionaires worked 16 hrs a day. They worked for it, unlike you lazy whining parasites. Ever wonder why Marx decided to write his manifesto WHILE HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN STARVED.... CAUSE THE FUCKER WAS TOO LAZY TO WORK like the majority of you communist losers

  • @TheRetiredtrucker

    A) what about the non "self made" cases?

    B) what about the person who breaks their back with two jobs? Or who ruins their health with their labors? I suppose they should be millionaires even moreso?

    C) why do you consider "wearing a tag" and having to cordially serve @ssholes like you a put down? Is it because you look down on such workers?

  • @RemoveYourChains A) If I chose to give my children my assets who are you to say no?

    B) Should have either studied more and not slacked off in school, or refused to do work that caused injury. We have safety nets to support those injured at work

    C) Nope I do consider communist losers. People who whine about people having more, but refuse to work for it themselves. Maybe if you weren't so fucking lazy you would try to improve yourself

  • Why is it so surprising that poor people have 50 + year old technology? Seriously?!

  • These cats are right.

  • don't let these guys tell you what to think. they voted for obama once and they're going to vote for obama again. they are not in this for the poor. the only man who is in it for the poor is ron paul

  • @stonedmentx Do you have a link to Ron Paul's plan to help people in poverty? I'd like to see/read it.

  • @ReignbowSmite he did two interviews recently where he talked about job growth/the recession. you can see them here: watch?v=WQ9fvpO1eco&feature=share and here: watch?v=J7xns46kn5A&feature=share . we need a debt free currency, we need to stop corporatism, and we need to allow free markets. a country never has to go into debt because they have to power to issue it's own debt free money. but we let private banks loan us debt based money that we have to pay back with interest forcing us into debt.

  • @stonedmentx Yes but jobs are only a fraction of the problem. The longer people go with out work the more depressed, drug or alcohol abused, apathetic people become. There's also a serious education problem that contributes to poverty. Access to health (including mental health) care. Social programs cure poverty.

Will Ron Paul make Walmart pay a full time employee a living wage? Or will people have to continue to neglect their children to work 60-80 hours a week?

  • @ReignbowSmite yes poor people trend towards drugs that's why ron wants to end the war on drugs because he knows it's an illness not a crime. yes education and health care are problems but social programs don't cure poverty. before medicare, ss, medicade people got free health care all the time. doctors never turn down patients, even today. so jacking up the price of medicine and then forcing everyone to buy insurance doesn't exactly help poor people.

  • @stonedmentx "end the war on drugs" I'm all for it! But you'll need social programs to help people who are addicted. You didn't specify "legalize" or "regulate" drugs, which one did you mean?

I disagree with you on healthcare because it's already been proven that a socialized system is more preventative, efficient, and affordable.I don't believe in forcing people to pay to a private insurance company.

"social programs don't cure poverty." Social programs are needed to help children in poverty.

  • @ReignbowSmite just get the government to end the war on drugs then let states decide whether or not they want to legalize them and tax them. you don't have to have a social program just to help people with addictions. people have to teach themselves how to behave- the goverment doesn't need to intervene and tell you what to think and where to get help. you say you dont want to force people to pay for insurance... but isn't that what the social program would have be?

  • @stonedmentx Ok, I agree with the stance on drugs. " people have to teach themselves how to behave" I would agree with that if the base population wasn't already so in despair. Much more generational poverty and suffering will occur unless you help people who ask for help, especially people who have behavior problems due to abuse or mental illness. I would force people to pool into a public insurance fund who's records were fully available to every tax paying citizen.

  • @ReignbowSmite it's ok to help people who ask for help i just draw the line when i have to pay for someone else not being responsible. i'll admit i had a drinking problem for a while but i'm currently doing a lot better. i helped myself though selfcontrol. i acknowledge that some people have more serious problems than i had but that doesn't justify another tax on someone who is being responsible. there are other ways of helping addicts besides forcing another tax

  • @stonedmentx It's great that you were able to help your self, congrats! Let's give you another example (this isn't an appeal to emotion because I despise this person, but it comes from my experience). My mother had been a severe alcoholic for years. she not only denied it but hid it as well. She was beginning to jaundice before the company she worked for went bankrupt and lost coverage. By this time she hit rock bottom and needed to be admitted to go through withdrawl. She was in a coma. (cont)

  • @ReignbowSmite Most people who have addictions hide them out of shame, and by the time they admit that they need help.. they've usually lost everything. How do we help these people? I know that you care about the struggle of average people. If wages were as high as welfare, and offered the same benefits, there would be an incentive to get off it. Welfare recipients have gone up because wages stagnated and benefits disappeared.

  • @ReignbowSmite but you don't have to make a new tax just to help these people. there are churches, good people, charity programs. but if people don't want to get help then there isn't much to do and you have to let them learn the hard way- that's the incentive to stop. we can't afford welfarism anymore anyway with all the wars and wreckless spending. all the other candidates just want to continue spending... how does that help? it just keeps it our problems going.

  • @stonedmentx here's an idea...end the wars.

  • @stonedmentx I would also force tax on the drugs, to pay for health and education programs, and tax large corporations to lower the average tax payer's costs. Eventually you can wean a population off of social programs, but the key is to make health and education of most importance. (imo)

  • @ReignbowSmite *health and education available to everyone for free.

  • @ReignbowSmite there you go again forcing stuff. that's where we disagree. i agree that a tax on, for example, marijuana, would reap huge revenue i think taxing it is unjust. if people are using marijuana for medicine then why not just leave it untaxed and let the people get that revenue directly? i don't want the governement taking money away from me and then telling me to trust that they will do something better with that money than what i could have done myself.

  • @stonedmentx I see it as an obligation by all citizens for the privileged of participating in a community. You would like to change the way that community is run. When someone procreates, they are forcing a life to exist... regardless of whether that life will suffer. Should we stop people from forcing new lives into this world? It's your opinion that taxing is theft. Society needs to be fixed from the bottom up. If you just drop people you problems will increase exponentially.

  • @ReignbowSmite oh please i'm not suggesting that we stop people from procreating i'm just saying that the government doesn't need to dictate little details in our life that people should be taking care of themselves. if people's problems will increase just because you give them more freedom then they should seriously reflect on life. we can't afford the government attempting to keep us in line. we have to be responsible and the people who aren't must be allowed to fail.

  • @stonedmentx wouldn't you have corporatism in a free market? What's to stop one company from buying out all the others? I support small businesses, and I would like to see a witch hunt on walmarts. Wouldn't you encourage that growth by increasing corporate taxes but keep them low for small/medium business owners? The taxes from multinationals can help fund social programs and health care, driving down an individual's cost.

  • @ReignbowSmite first off, thanks for presenting your points in a intelligent manner- i appreciate that. what would stop that from happening are the people who own the companies. if a company allowed itself to get bought out by a bigger corporation that company is just as bad as the corporation. small businesses have to teach themselves not to sell out. increasing taxes on big corporations doesnt work well because that makes them look for ways to outsource rather than hire in the US

  • @stonedmentx You're welcome... haha I was just going to thank you for your patience.

"if a company allowed itself to get bought out by a bigger corporation that company is just as bad as the corporation." Agreed =D "small businesses have to teach themselves not to sell out." we know that no one will do that. Everyone sells out for the right price, that's just human nature. Dan Ariely has an excellent lecture on youtube about human rationality as it pertains to economics. (cont)

  • @ReignbowSmite I highly recommend it. Increasing taxes hasn't scared them off in the past, but wouldn't that be what you want to do if you want to encourage small business growth? Get rid of the assholes that keep taking over everything? I mean it's not like they'd stop selling products in America. They've already moved all the jobs.

  • @ReignbowSmite while i think it's true that a lot of people would sell out i think that in a free market most won't. people would have more say. in a free market, fractional reserve banking and fraud are illegal. that would make it impossible for big corporations to draw loans with unfair credit ratings and buy out the masses like how they do now. that makes mega corporations like monsanto scared to death. they scoff at talk of higher taxes because they know they won't pay them.

  • @ReignbowSmite you're right taxes don't run off corporations. i was mistaking taxes for regulations. regulations run off corporations. i don't mind talk of tax reform because the irs is obviously screwed up. there is obviously a problem if big corporations aren't paying any taxes and small businesses are paying a ton of taxes.

  • @stonedmentx I don;t stick to one political ideology. I like to take from here and there. I agree with some of the things he says, but the right not to be taxed, and tax is theft is just an opinion, and the potential effects of this in a recession will cause generations of death and suffering. It's irresponsible. A society needs to be groomed into independence. Tough love doesn't work from any standpoint.

  • bullshit. If the US didn't raised the debt ceiling a lot of people in the whole world would be in trouble of the crisis that a default could make.

  • Ron Paul is a creationist moron! He thinks scientific literacy is not important to the presidency.

He picks and chooses "facts" to coincide with his views. People really think he'll make things better?! This country truly is lost.

  • @bb1televator lol your 100% wrong

  • @stonedmentx *you're

  • @stonedmentx lol except I'm not wrong. He is a creatard. As such he ignores objective observations that he doesn't like. He's a creationist who also believes in the psychotic ramblings of a well known atheist.

  • @bb1televator what is he ignoring?

  • Guess who heads 'The Heritage Foundation'? That's right Karl "turdblossom" Rove. Now guess who funds that foundation? No seriously guess it's unclear.

  • america is turning into george dickens' london. but with microwave ovens. which give you colon cancer, so, you know, great.

  • @LiberaLib wth, they really do that?

  • well if you have a microwave then of course you are not poor duh!... fuckin cnn lol

  • Ima start a business teaching the middle-class how to be poor :P

  • The poor are better than the middle-class? Keep living that dream, Amerikans.

  • the poor don't have 'lobbiest' to send to washington and slip money in the back pockets of politicans?

  • These two guys are just plain stupid. Collectivism is a mental disorder.

  • How much do these guys make? Do they give it all to the poor?

  • @rwalkenhorst Right cos thats what has to happen when you make money. Just give your entire paycheck to them.

  • Our standards of poverty are much higher than most other countries. A poor person from Columbia or India would think he hit the lotto if he lived by the same standards that poor Americans live by.

  • @Dedhedted71 Wake the fuck up! The poor in developing countries are that way because of such things as modern industry and globalized capitalism. If you look at indigenous people who live away from modern industry and globalized capitalism, they are much healthier and long-living than the poor in developed countries. Also, American poor are much worse off than the poor in many developed countries.

  • @MarmaladeINFP You live in mental poverty.

  • @Dedhedted71 If I'm in mental poverty and I'm by far smarter than you, then it must suck to be you. I state the obvious facts and you run away wimpering because you are incapable of logical debate. Sad and pathetic.

  • @MarmaladeINFP Why would I bother to exchange anything worth while with an asshole who starts off his whole comment with an insult??? I don't waste my time debating trolls like you! If you would have come at me with intelligence & respect then maybe I would have taken the time to educate you on global economics & poverty. But since you are an obvious idiot I am not going to bother. And none of your stupid messgs will be read either so go back to watching WWE or whatever dunces like you watch.

  • @Dedhedted71 Troll means anyone who is more well informed than you, eh? Telling you to wake the fuck up wasn't an insult. It was a very strong suggestion. I still stand by that suggestion. What do you think you'd lose by waking up?

  • The top 5% of Americans have net worth of 40 trillion dollars.

  • @mirandansa ...and that's fine as long as they make their money by selling products and services that people spend their own money on voluntarily. It's when they're in cahoots with government that the poor and middle class get screwed. The evil ingredient is always the state.

Smiley and West understand the evil of politicians when they shovel our money to bombmakers and banksters. Why do they trust the same creeps to formulate a central "plan" to eradicate poverty?

  • don't let these guys tell you what to think. they voted for obama once and they're going to vote for obama again. they are not in this for the poor. the only man who is in it for the poor is ron paul.

  • Race divides us and that's why they bring over immigrants...

  • Pair of clowns.

  • I think these two have just awakened from a long slumber!

  • Welfare is a band-aid and not a cure. It's government programs like this that allow people who are barely able to take care of themselves, the ability to have kids, to get a little more money, to continue the cycle and even worse adding to it. People need to take care of people, through local churches, family, neighbors, community, etc. There is no accountabilty for people who receive welfare and therefore no reason to better oneself.
