I don't know why people worry so much about who copied who. Coldplay has been accused of plagiarism too, and that doesn't make them any less talented. Has Chris Martin expressed his concern about this song? I bet he doesn't give a shit about this discussion.

I'm not a guetta or martin fan, btw, so I think my opinion is not heaviy biased here.

It's very clear that David Guetta a plagiator/copycat. He just stolen "Clocks" Coldplay's music and placed on his new song with Kelly Rowland. Poor artist, I thought. Shame on you, David.

@garek007 lol you idiot, guetta is the thief. "When love takes over" was released 21 April 2009. Coldplay's album with clocks on it was released 26 August 2002.

@CrankDATdance56 I have, I'm a massive Coldplay fan, but the melodies are not the same! Google the sheet music for both if you don't believe me. A similar note progression, yes, but different chords. And completely different notes.

Do you want to give any more "evidence" for "how Guetta... is complete shit"?

You should find a way of mixing in Lady Gaga's Born This Way. Cos that is the exact same chord progression too. As i'm listening to this mashup im literally singing along with her song, in a different key and pitch of course, but it still fits perfectly.
