Meanwhile, the Republican Party defends massive tax breaks for the wealthy while blocking aid to the unemployed, fights bitterly against regulations designed to prevent a repeat of the Wall Street meltdown, blocks legislation that would at least require corporate and special interests to identify themselves when they invest in elections and does all that while proclaiming itself to be the party of the little people.

...there are only 85,000 total jobs in the "Wind-Turbine Industry" and if they hired 10%percent more? That would be 8500 "jobs" and it appears he is taking the last mass of Ca$h and dumping onto these peoples companies? He might as well give out Millions and Millions to desperate Job Seekers and their families. It would be BETTER SPENT then this "Climate Gate We Need Wind" few jobs! They will suck all the last Stim-you-busted monies out of Obama and leave others= NOTHING! Not a way to grow jobs

2009 was a disaster for the country! The only thing that was achieved was the quadrupling of the deficit, record unemployment and increasing the size of government to levels that have created an atmosphere where our individual freedoms are at risk and we're on the verge of destroying the priciples are country was founded on. It's a shame. If Democrats had put common sense and the will of the people ahead of their liberal extremist power-grab, the US would be on it's way to a recovery.

@rationalnow= so the President HAS granted his presence to "meet with the Republicans" this Friday? My fondest wish is that once they have him? They LOCK THE DOORS. And until he listens to each and every one of them and their advice. And answers ALL their "questions" he not be allowed to make a short teleprompter edict and then run~ (I want to hear "Breaking News" = Republicans sittin on Baama until HE GETS IT! )Subtitled: "That may take 3 more years" . p.s. I hope they screen all the DIMS=OUT!

Yeah I have to agree all through 2009 while Americans climbed to over 10% unemployment. when obamer promised in a speech it would not climb over 8%. Majority Americans are disgusted with the outright unconstitutional bribery displayed by the obamer administration to pass mandated government run health care. I do not care how the president pivots from this point he will never get my trust again. Once a skunk always a skunk.

You guys are right, Obama can't be trusted on anything. He has constantly lied and deceived the American people. Instead of things getting better, we are digging ourselves deeper into a hole. And today, I heard Democrats are still trying to push health care reform! We have got to keep up the pressure and NOT let down. They're more desperate than ever to ram through extremist policies while they still have power. I don't believe anything Democrats say anymore!

@rationalnow I watched Geithner squirm on CSPAN today. He looks like he's going down on those charges if they can get the questions in. The Democrats and Republicans were eating him alive. Bernanke looked like he was in tears .. the way he was being questioned. I hope the news is reporting this stuff..
