The population numbers are under-reported by the US gov't. We are near 7.5 billion and adding 80-100 million more per year or roughly 9-12 NYC's a year in population. Every problem were facing today including global warming, deforestatiion, soil erosion, increased diseases, massive storms, inceased earthquake & volcano activity and more are ALL due to overpopulation. Selfish and ignorant people can't understand overpopulation and their babble should be ignored.

@TheMasamune444 I believe in complacency which allows people to make up excuses for not changing their behavior. People dying of cancer do the same thing. "Sure you can adapt to a brain tumor! Why not?" It's basically the same thing. It's essentially positive thinking your way into your own grave. Ostriches do it when they stick their heads in the sand. People do it when they claim that they'll 'adapt' to human cancers like global warming and overpopulation. Really the two probs. go hand in hand

i really like the fact you included the "tax credit". alot of people don't think about the fact our government financially endorses overpopulation through the earned income credit which is a tax break of thousands per child.
