this guy makes an extremely valid point, the only Bible we can rely on is the King James Version. Jesus was upset. the cause: people turning from God, and bringing others down the same path, without them knowing it. sounds like a good example to me. our cause MUST BE A RIGHTEOUS CAUSE. not, oh, my brother took my sandwich! *punch* but more like, oh, my brother is blaspheming against God, and knowing that what he is doing is wrong. *long conversation* point made. thanks pdflm!
pdflm says: "3 Missing Words That Made Jesus a Sinner"
3 overlooked words that make pdflm look both dishonest and ignorant:
"with his brother"
People, please read passages in context before formulating hypotheses.
"Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift." (Matthew 5:23-24)
mah bad.....i thought you were saying that Jesus was sinner according to the bible....sorry i apolozise and repent....thats right people....get KING JAMES version bible...
If you believe that Jesus and G-d is one in the same, then how can you deny that Jesus can be angry?
Of course if someone wants to play word games they could say that G-d is permitted to be angry, and we are not. Then you have to question G-d and his creation of man with the ability to anger. I for one wish Christians would get off their universalist rears and stand up against the government that is aggressive against us and read the bible!
GOD SAID SLOW TO ANGER. JESUS WAS SLOW TO ANGER. ANGER IS A SIN WHEN ITS USED IMPROPERLY. I GUESS GOD SINS EVERYDAY SINCE HE IS REALLY ANGRY WITH HIS PEOPLE. I'M MEAN REALLY ANGRY.
This isn't even a problem, as Jesus' "anger" was righteous indignation, and not the sort of "anger" which He warned about regarding "Do not murder". Those "3 words" being "removed" don't change anything because Cain had a "cause" for being angry too when he killed Abel! Anyone can easily discern that Jesus wasn't condemning anger, but rather warning to temper ourselves before we become "in danger of punishment" by letting our feelings control our actions. This was the whole lesson of Mt 5:21-30!
People keep defending their betrayers. Many willingly celebrate these wildly wicked weird witchcraft holidays from the weathered old Roman religion of rapists. Are these holidays the beautiful side of evil?...Well, evil, is still evil no matter how it is served to you. The Lord God shall a put curse on all who celebrate these holidays of Hell. You and your children' s children shall suffer plague and death. The Holy Bible explains this fact.
The teacher in this video should worry about what is in the bible because just as many issues with what is in as what is out, that book is a mess lol.
Mt. 5:22 (in any translation) doesn't teach us that all anger is sinful any more than Mt. 5:34 teaches us that it is a sin to give sworn testimony in a court. Throughout the Sermon on the Mount Jesus teaches that God judges not only our outward actions (murder, breaking oath) but our heart motivations. Read it in context and it's clear Jesus is saying if you have murderous anger toward someone but stop short violence God still counts this as sin.
Allow me to expound further. Not only was messiah angry with a cause, He had the supreme authority to do & be so. Take note, He did this AFTER he came into Jerusalem, AFTER He was proclaimed King by the multitudes, as prophesied, to the exact day by Daniel the prophet. So as king, the root & branch of David, He was king AND High Priest, with authority over the Temple. There are no coincidences in the bible. every jot & tiddle is pregnant with meaning. Maranatha.
Personally, I wouldn't hold it against Jesus if he was a sinner. Some people even claim that he was a homosexual (I don't believe that, I'm just pointing out that some make that claim about Jesus, John, David, and Paul), but I wouldn't hold that against him either.
How can a person be human but without sin? Sin defines humans, therefore a) Jesus was not a human or b) Jesus was a sinner. Believers in a sinless Jesus want to have their cake and eat it too. It makes me think of the "waters" for sale that have additives, in which case, shouldn't we call lemonade "lemon and sugar water?"
This video shows the utter stupidity of people trying to live ignoring there is a God who does kingdom. God was angry in the Old Testament and Jesus is angry in the New testament. The question is WHY are they angry. See the point of view here this guy is presenting is. A. Being Angry is a sin B. Jesus Got Angry C. Jesus is a sinner. Well God was angry in the Old Testament, do you honestly think the Apostles did not realize this? GOD Has the right to be ANGRY at SIN, because he is GOOD and HOLY.
"who does kingdom" I meant to say who does judge. The point I am making is, there is a solution to this supposed dilemma. Its called what is the motive, God gets angry at SIN, evil, wickedness. Men get angry because they have to go to work, or because someone said something about them that could be true or not true, most of the time its because men do not get their way and they get angry. God gets angry at things that are evil. Jesus was angry because they were making something God madeHOLYvile
you understand not scripture yet.you must submit to the law of Moses.you are being literal when he speaks in dark sayings nd parables.read precerpt upon precerpt, line upon upon line, here a little, there a little and the word shall answer itself.there are no contradictions. (Matt 13; Isaiah 28:9-13; Psalms 78:1; Psalms 110 is how to understand scripture) Ephesians 4:26= be ye angry and sin NOT!! (righteous anger beecause of ones blasphemed actions). shalom ahch
It is unbelievable that THIS be the very verse that got me questioning the many translations, and the FIRST TIME that I saw this verse, properly translated, in the King James Bible! Praise God!
Sky-three weeks ago you seem very jconfused, JESUS NEVER SINNED ! Where in the Bible does it say that ? Oh, that's right in your book written by satanists and lesbefriends it might state that ! Get a BIBLE and burn that piece of satanic filth that you use. Oh, sorry didn't mean to not show love to you but GOD doesn't like that filth either. Try 1Jn 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
@se7en224 You really nailed it with 1st John chapter 3 verse 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin
I wonder about the guy who made these videos how much to him is about truth and how much is about spin and making a buck. He seems to be glued to a KJV but doesn't seems to talk much about origonal Greek and Hebrew, or the context of time or the culture it was written in which I would feel would open far more. Does he have a theological degree?
@Oiaku Yeah, I'm kind of confused... how do you know if you're angry with a cause? Maybe you just think you have a good reason, but you don't? Help, someone?
@JackFinn . OK yes "Jesus had a reaon for his anger> "They were In the temple he found people selling cattle, sheep, and doves, and the money changers seated at their tables. Making a whip of cords, he drove all of them out of the temple, both the sheep and the cattle. He also poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. He told those who were selling the doves, "Take these things out of here! Stop making my Father's house a marketplace!"
My point really was to prove to the unbelievers and those that criticize Jesus as the Son of God that I even to a more perfect extent of understanding can admit that Jesus died with sin, and even suffered as a sinner yet STILL understand why and still accept Jesus as the son of God. It is my duty to bring understanding to the misinformed and hopefully the revelation will come to them. Yes, I am Christian.
If you believe that Jesus is Word of God, and the word, which is Jesus, became flesh you will understand why it is both important to view Jesus as both a man and a God. The flesh shows us and teaches us how me must live and what we are by nature, sinners. And Word teaches us how we can receive salvation for our sins as Jesus did.
continue... When Jesus died on the cross He suffered both death and being the sacrifice for all of mans sins. The sin of all man was transfered to Him making Jesus the sinner.
@SkytheNinja No no no, Jesus was never a sinner, He never became a sinner. Just because the sins of the world were placed on Him, it did NOT make Him a sinner. Same as if I was carrying the money of a rich man to the bank... on the way, I would not be a millionaire.
@Ammyai I know it is tough to say it but the truth is that He died a sinner. If you were asked the question, "Did Jesus die with Sin?" What can be the only answer if your only choice was yes or no. When He died Jesus did not go straight to heaven, he went to the place of nonbelievers/sinners to preach to them. The place called Sheol. He suffered entirely has a sinner. But I understand that as a believer we accept that this is the will of God being done to perfection so no Jesus is not sinner.
@SkytheNinja I'd still say He died with no sin. He was sinless. He was blameless. he was Holy.
Where He went straight after is beside the point. Or are you trying to say Jesus went to hell because of his sins? He had other reasons to remain in sheol for 3 days. Mainly the beliefs of the Jews... if He had risen on the second day, they would have claimed he hadn't been dead at all.
It is written.. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21). Galatians 3:13: “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.’"
Hell does not exist at this that time or even this time. Only Sheol./hades existed for the sinner and non believers.
@Ammyai Consider the verses above. It is important for us as believers to know that Jesus was a ransom payed for our sins. Became a sinner for us. If i am talking to non believer with only logic and rationalization, a person of no faith or lack of understanding, it is better for us to say the truth and to make understanding to them. You can't force faith onto someone who is using rationalization to deter the bible. There is many parts that are hard to grasp. Ask God for answer in that situation.
Technically Jesus can be considered a sinner. only if you read the bible fully you can really understand why Jesus can be considered a sinner. Sin was redeemed by a number a ways throughout the bible. In the very beginning Sin from Adam and Eve lead to death. for a long period that was the law. If you sin you die. Then that was changed from sacrifice for sin. Some sins require many sacrifices of living animals to be payed for redemption. The sin was transfered to that of the sacrificial animal.
Matthew 5:22 KJV " whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire." Luk 12:20 KJV "But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?"
Luk 11:40 KJV Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?
I guess you didn't think this one out too well now did you. Is Jesus in danger of hell fire? Well according to the KJV he is by using your logic(or lack)
@jbh2816 Only if you call someone a fool without cause, my good man. In fact, in 5:22 in pure translation, without a cause is in there. Same sentence.
But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,(Contempt)' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.
@SupremeAmerican Sorry, but it doesn't say "without a cause" with the fool statement, and the sentence isn't constructed for it to apply to all three. And in reality, who really ever gets angry without a cause? If you just get angry for no reason, you may have some mental issues to deal with. Is the KJV teaching that just because you have a reason to be angry it's OK? Of course not.
@jbh2816 Actually it is constructing the entire sentense around the basis of "Without a cause", that would seem to be the pre-requisite for each basis of accusation talked about.
@jbh2816 Well actually it is "Without Cause" Not without a cause. So kinda like, if a newborn baby takes a shit on your floor, and you call him a fool, that is doing so without cause. The baby did not know what he was doing was wrong, so therefore, to get angry at him, genuinely angry, is without cause.
@SupremeAmerican No need to cuss during a discussion about the Bible. Without a cause(as in the KJV) is only for the first as it is worded. If it was at the end, then you would have a point. And yes, if a baby poops on the floor and you get mad at him, you have a cause. It's because he pooped on the floor. Now, should you? No. Do you have a good cause? No, But it doesn't say for a good cause, just a cause. The point is that it isn't a doctrinal issue and it doesn't make Jesus a sinner.
@SupremeAmerican I agree with you that Jesus was not a sinner. I was referring to the video in trying to say that Jesus was a sinner if the words "without a cause" are not there. I wasn't trying to imply that you thought he was. Sorry if it came across that way.
Eph 4:26 ESV "Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger," And how often to people get angry "without a cause." You are just walking around and all of a sudden and get angry for no reason? Logic is lacking. Nobody gets angry without a cause.
Ha Ha Ha! I wish I had seen this just a few days ago, before I posted something on the subject in my blog! But, no fear, it is going there, today! Link to it is in my channel!
Illuminati Eye n almost every church. the illuminati uses this religion to divide ppl & to control ppl... remember constantine? with this sign i will rule? speakin of the cross? lol u ppl dont like researchin u just follow whatever has been taught to u since day one
the only reason why ppl believe in this bs .. is becuz its the only thing theyve been taught .. its americas first religion as we know of! but heres some shit to open ur eye on this christianity bs.. im not sayin i dont believe in jesus.. i do.. i believe he was here to teach us how to live and to make shit fair between the romans and his ppl
it really doesnt matter the bible is finally getting read by people instead of preachers picking and choosing what should be studied and apologized for. the more u read it the more it reveils that its contradictry and above all else, its evil with all it promotes. slavery, segregation, belief over knowledge. the only reason people give a Damn is because a vast majority are taught that the bible is true through child indoctrination. without that the bible would crumble.
@Frater8 The more you read it with an intent to search for God and know God, the more God will reveal Himself to you. Before the Law of God, man was very evil. They killed, pillaged, raped daughters and mothers. They burned farms and made slaves of uncivilized people, they were cannibals. God saw this evil and He flooded the world. It was the Law of God that brought order to man in the first place. Yet today you say that it is reason why there is evil in this world.
@SkytheNinja Seeing the wars that still go on and the terrorism I see gods plan of flooding the world really did the trick. Moses was the one that said to divide and conquer kill everyone except the virgin girls so you can have them as mates. You have some fucking nerve to call the kettle black. You're asking me to read the bible in a subservant way instead of using my critical thinking skills. Jesus condones slavery otherwise he wouldnt have told slaves to obey their masters.
@Frater8 Aside from bible and being strictly logical back then people killed murdered rape and took your own child out of your arms and made them into slaves. Do you agree? They were not even punished for it because there were no laws. The only way people defended each other was through murder and war and family or friends. There was absolutely no order because there was no law. Moses was given the Law of God for the Isrealites. His law was very specific. If you sinned you died. No forgiveness.
@Frater8 So you know why he spared virgins? He spared them because they did not have sexual relations outside of marriage. Do you know why he demanded woman and man to die. they worshiped idols and committed adultery. They lied and stole. Isrealites were subjected to the highest degree of punishment for disobeying the Law. It was death..Isrealites had there own law. It wasn't the law of everyone only the Jews.
@Frater8 God flooded the world to cleanse it of evil. God saw all of man as evil except for a few that went into the ark ..everyone else was evil. Ultimately, God made a promise that he will not cleanse the world through water again but rather through fire. Logically, you can assume that God knows eventually our humanity will lead to sin and chaos otherwise He would not have made it be known that there is a second cleansing.
@Frater8 We are better off today then we were back then. It is because we had the Law of God. The Law of Isrealites demanded death for sin. In Leviticus sacrifice and in the new testament Jesus reveals all man as sinners no matter what, so only through Him you can be saved. My point is that your logic is wrong because you compare this time to that time when at that time slavery and worse was going on. Do you have your tongue cut out for speaking your mind against an official?
and the Dead Sea Scroll has way more truth to it than this book does... Religion is a tax free organization... lazy ppl only want to become preachers... instead of building a church try uniting a world full of angry politicians who brought forth religion just to DIVIDE PPL.. Religion only divides ppl.. and this is a fact
@HISArroGancE Yes but you have to understand that no matter what there is no way to create peace on earth. There is nothing that can be done to create a paradise on earth. It is written in bible. If we had no religion which is the foundation of our current laws there will still be chaos. people still fight over race as well as color. Over ownership and pride. There is so much hatred for many different things. Honestly we are inclined to hate and if you read bible you will know reason why.
Jesus sinned... tha man was 12 @ one time then he was 30 a page later.. lmao .. u all actually believe this stuff?? that dude was sinning.. trust me.. he had to find himself before he actually became Christ.. which means the annointed one.. Christ isnt his last name its a Title! u idiots...
u all believe in a book that supposedly started off with 600 books.. fell to 80 books.. and now its only 66??? please! i wish i would believe in somethin thats been tampered with by man.. my relationship with god is thru me and no one else.. why dont u all try the samething
Actually, that passage you read from the Green Bible did not turn Jesus into a sinner because it said "if you are angry with a brother or sister, you will be liable to judgment." The moneychangers that Jesus chased out of the temple He did not consider to be his friends or relatives, so even though the words "without a cause" were not in the passage, it still didn't imply that Jesus sinned.
pdflm, if you have a problem with these translations, then YOU provide us a translation in the modern dialect. Send me a message when you have it done.
I have studied all the religions of this world and read all the books I could find on them. And the truth is, tha t the King James Authorized Bible is the most accurate of all the Christian Bibles I have studied. All of the religions of this world that have any link to God's Word, i.e. Mormons, Jehovah Witness, Seventh Day, Roman Catholic, Muslim, etc...Have all changed God's Word to the desires of their leaders in order to control or manipulate their followers.
So what you're saying is if someone were to find a passage in the bible that contradicts itself and puts christianity in a bad light the solution is obvious. Re-write the bible so that it fixes the problem and throw out all the other majority bibles the way it was written many years ago. Damn you guys simply can't get your story straight and find loop holes and qualifers for your madness.
Does this guy seriously think that *anyone* considers Jesus to be a sinner because of this? Come on. The righteousness of Jesus' actions in the temple is more than evident, as is His divinity. This is more of Chick Publications' manipulation to "prove" that the King James Version is the only accurate version of the Bible (never mind that God's Word for the Nations and some other newer translations are translated word-for-word from the original Hebrew and Greek Scriptures).
@epistrophy68 I'm going to tell you what I said to the other guy, with the tree missing words, Jesus then contradicts the Old Testament. The Word of God is so post to have one author and be flawless. My mom is a unbeliever so I know what it's like when people are always saying the Bible contradicts its self because it was written by man.
@bblande how do u know this for sure??? u all dont know shit about what happened in tha past.. watch the movie Zeitgeist... where it clearly states and its RECORDS that shows there were other messiahs just like jesus before and during his time.. u can even research it after u watch it... We dont know shit about what happened in the past for all we know ppl couldve wrote that bs u all call a bible to profit from it... or to control a population of ppl... ITS CALLED GOVERNMENTAL..
@bblande Break the word Governmental into two words and tell me its exact meaning.. i believe jesus sinned.. the bible jumps from him being 12-30... u mean to tell me out of 33 yrs of living this nigga dick aint get hard once?? yea right HE HAD HUMAN BLOOD HE WAS BORN IN SIN
More missing from the NIV this is Matthew 12:47,7:20,17:21, 18:11, 21:44, 23:14, just a few, you can google the rest. 18:11 shuold not have been left out, thier was no reason for that.
Holy crap really, everyone that gets angry has a reason for it. Its simple just as them why they are angry they will tell you just watch out their angry remember. lol Daniels really needs to think before he puts up a video.
When you remove ANYTHING from the Bible, you are in great trouble before God . Rev 22:19 says:"And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book". If you don't believe in the Bible, may God touch your heart one day, but if you believe in the Bible as the real word of God , you should investigate before criticizing.
@Xeoncross What do you mean I didn't make any sence? I guess in your world we should kill people that work at Walmart, Pizza Hut, Loews, that mow there yard on the weekend, etc.., etc... Killing someone for working on a certain day of the week is madness!
@Matthaeus18 Ok where does it say in the bible that the sabbath is no longer binding. Secondly I hope you are right because if you are god is a lier. Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
@bullwhipjesus My answer is to long so it won't let me post it fully.
It basically comes down to this: The whole system of Sabbaths, be they days or years, was brought to its end with the rest of the Law by the sacrifice of Christ Jesus.
Romans 7:6-"But now we have been discharged from the Law, because we have died to that by which we were being held fast, that we might be slaves in a new sense by the spirit, and not in the old sense by the written code".
@Matthaeus18 Romans 7:6 is talking about after you are dead you are free from the law. Mattthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven.
He might be a scientologist trying to start a war between the major religions. Afterall scientologists think that jesus is a pedo OT level 8 I believe.
Amen brother... In the end times there will be watering down of the gospel, teaching the doctrines of man rather than those of God. Even priests will be led astray. (2 Tim 3:5, Matt 15:9)
What an incredible prophesy ...that the God you worship-that is, The Nicene Council- would somehow lose His Influence on the world in the years to come, and that modern priests would become un-Nicene-ish.
"at some vague date in the future, people will disagree with us...IGNORE THEM."
How can you understand the supernatural enough to conclusively judge that this fine child is a supernatural entity when your mind is in fact entirely natural?
What do you mean Judge? What I declared is a statement. My mind may be natural but I have a supernatural relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That is supernatural. I cant see the Lord but I feel him. What are you actually implying? That Jesus Christ is a natural being, and because my body is a natural thing I cant Believe this? Air is a natural thing but its supernatural to believe that it exists. Fact I can breathe because of it.
Did you check what perfect means? Our father in heaven wants us to be perfect like Him. Look at Matthew 5 in it's entirety and at the very end and see that if you love your neighbor AND your enemy, you are perfect as Our father in heaven. Jesus died for all sinners, friends and enemies that's what makes Him perfect. If you dispute this, Sleeper! AWAKEN!!!
Come on dude?! You're really stretching it. David was describing one of the characteristics of a fool. One that would say "There is no God." will find he fits the bill. Jesus was talking about telling a specific person "thou fool" in context regarding how deep "thou shalt not kill goes." Geez can we just stay in context so we don't float off into fantasy land?
I'm not "stretching it" at all. The Bible makes that very clear statement, and because it doesn't fit your belief system, I'm thus "floating off into fantasy land?" And if you are a Christian, I'm actually surprised you would use a slang word for the name Jesus. You took the name of the Lord in vain, fella.
Geez did I really say the name of Jesus in vain? You are not interested in context so to you I speak the name of the Great King in vain. So tell me Who is the fool that has said in his heart There is no God? Really you must know the answer. And who says I'm a christian. You took a ffew words I wrote and cooked up "christian."
So prove I took the name of the Lord in vain? Prove it according to scripture. What is it to take His name, first of all and then tell me what it is to take His name in vain. Quote the commandment if you want to. Could it be that maybe your letter killeth but the spirit maketh alive....
Could it bee that Jesus who IS the fulfillment of the law and the prophets by his own words has made the commandment complete in His utterances in Matthew 5? This isn't my "belief system" dude. This is the plain word of God. Isn't His word worth reading in context? The Bereans of Paul's day thought so. You know in thessalonica? they searched the scriptures daily to say if the things he said were so or not.
I can't say anything else but I am not a christian according to your reckoning but what I am I am and what you are you are according to the reckoning of the word of God. He will judge us both!
The context is as clear as a bell - read it. And "geez" is slang for "Jesus" and thus you are taking His name in vain. And as far as you being a Christian, notice I said "if."
Taking the Lord's name in vain will be saying ohh my gosh, i cant really say it because im a christian. or getting mad or angry and saying the name Jesus Christ in a statement. Unless your refering to or praying to Jesus then therefore that argument is invalid.
This is one more example of the shoddy logic of the KJV only model. The psalmist (followed by the Apostle Paul) noted that one can be angry and sin not. Anger not fueled by fleshly passion, nor not used as an excuse to sin is not sinful. Thus, to make Jesus a sinner for His righteous indignation because of 3 missing words is misconstruing what Jesus did. Missing words or not, Jesus' anger was righteous anger, not sinful anger.
Part of your comment doesnt make sense and it seems that you completely misunderstood the video. David never said that Jesus had or showed unrighteous anger. Nor did David say that Jesus was a sinner. He pointed out that taking out those three words, without a cause, from Jesus statement makes Jesus look like He sinned. Those three words are what qualifies Jesus anger as righteous anger. Jesus had a cause. But Bibles that take out those three words makes Jesus contradict the statement of
Paul in Eph. 4:26, be ye angry, and sin not. By the way, be angry and sin not isnt what it says in Psalm 4:4, unless you think the LXX is better than the Hebrew.
You are on the wrong side of Euthyphro's dilemma, my friend. Actions are just because they correspond with God's Nature. For example. Jesus drove demons into pigs, and the subsequent possession of the pigs drove them into the ocean. Were Jesus a normal human, this massive slaughter of pigs would have been a sin. However, because Jesus is by definition God, and God is by definition without sin, the act wasn't a sin.
Furthermore, because you adhere to this belief that sin is based on fundamental notions of good and evil rather than the nature of God, you are blaspheming the entire trinity.
Even the Holy Spirit.
Need I remind you that, according to Matthew 12:32 "And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in the {age} to come."
The modern bibles remove the word worship from their versions when it refers to people who have met Jesus. The KJV states, "they worshiped Him" BUT the moderns state, "they bowed down" or "they bowed to Him."
Bowing means nothing other then a sign of respect and THAT is a BIG difference as worship indicates His role as Saviour/God.
How to read Bible, "If the first sense makes common sense don't go looking for nonsense."
@Subtitledworship Well bowing and kneeling and calling him Lord and asking if it is in your will for me to be clean. If they would have took out the word "clean," i can see how it would not acknowledge Jesus as son. I consider it worship in all versions just because the world "clean" and "will" are intact. Anyhow there is big flaw between the characteristics of Hell/Sheol/Hades in KJV. The NKJV is better IMO. But the best thing to me is ask God for answer when you read more will be revealed.
@Subtitledworship Also consider the fact that Jesus may not have wanted a public worship to preserve His identity. Yes he did accept worship but maybe it was His will that at the time the leper will only bow as a gesture of respect to not alert the guards.
@hallocked, Matt 8:2 see how one word changes the verse?
King James Version (KJV) And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
New International Version (NIV)A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean."
New Living Translation (NLT)Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached him and knelt before him. Lord, the man said, if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.
@hallockd But with the tree missing words, Jesus then contradicts the Old Testament. The Word of God is so post to have one author and be flawless. My mom is a unbeliever so I know what it's like when people are always saying the Bible contradicts its self because it was written by man.
Praise the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen. Yes, HE certainly did have a reason to be angry indeed. I hope you feel better (boo-boos on cheek) ELOHIM bless you brother. <(^8

Good point. But also consider that Jesus was angry with those who were not redeemable. They were not brothers anyway.
deadlydavem 4 months ago
One can throw things without anger. Very poor examples you got there, he wasn't angry there. Don't make baseless assumptions about others emotions.
And having something to be judged doesn't make it a sin, so even IF he was angry, so what ? Very poor example of a sin too. Tat-tat.

pdflm says: "3 Missing Words That Made Jesus a Sinner"

Mark 3:5 "He looked around at them in anger."

TRITCHEE 6 months ago
This isn't even a problem, as Jesus' "anger" was righteous indignation, and not the sort of "anger" which He warned about regarding "Do not murder". Those "3 words" being "removed" don't change anything because Cain had a "cause" for being angry too when he killed Abel! Anyone can easily discern that Jesus wasn't condemning anger, but rather warning to temper ourselves before we become "in danger of punishment" by letting our feelings control our actions. This was the whole lesson of Mt 5:21-30!

EASTER, CHRISTMAS & TRUTH:
People keep defending their betrayers. Many willingly celebrate these wildly wicked weird witchcraft holidays from the weathered old Roman religion of rapists. Are these holidays the beautiful side of evil?...Well, evil, is still evil no matter how it is served to you. The Lord God shall a put curse on all who celebrate these holidays of Hell. You and your children' s children shall suffer plague and death. The Holy Bible explains this fact.

Magnificent in its simplicity.
Maranatha.

GOD Has the right to be ANGRY at SIN, because he is GOOD and HOLY.
r4ormedclay87 11 months ago
"who does kingdom" I meant to say who does judge. The point I am making is, there is a solution to this supposed dilemma. Its called what is the motive, God gets angry at SIN, evil, wickedness. Men get angry because they have to go to work, or because someone said something about them that could be true or not true, most of the time its because men do not get their way and they get angry. God gets angry at things that are evil. Jesus was angry because they were making something God madeHOLYvile

SkytheNinja 1 year ago
continue... When Jesus died on the cross He suffered both death and being the sacrifice for all of mans sins. The sin of all man was transfered to Him making Jesus the sinner.
SkytheNinja 1 year ago
@SkytheNinja No no no, Jesus was never a sinner, He never became a sinner. Just because the sins of the world were placed on Him, it did NOT make Him a sinner. Same as if I was carrying the money of a rich man to the bank... on the way, I would not be a millionaire.
It made Him one who died for the sins of others.
Ammyai 1 year ago
@Ammyai I know it is tough to say it but the truth is that He died a sinner. If you were asked the question, "Did Jesus die with Sin?" What can be the only answer if your only choice was yes or no. When He died Jesus did not go straight to heaven, he went to the place of nonbelievers/sinners to preach to them. The place called Sheol. He suffered entirely has a sinner. But I understand that as a believer we accept that this is the will of God being done to perfection so no Jesus is not sinner.
SkytheNinja 1 year ago
@SkytheNinja I'd still say He died with no sin. He was sinless. He was blameless. he was Holy.
Where He went straight after is beside the point. Or are you trying to say Jesus went to hell because of his sins? He had other reasons to remain in sheol for 3 days. Mainly the beliefs of the Jews... if He had risen on the second day, they would have claimed he hadn't been dead at all.
He suffered but not for His own sins.
Ammyai 1 year ago
It is written.. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21). Galatians 3:13: “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.’"
Hell does not exist at this that time or even this time. Only Sheol./hades existed for the sinner and non believers.
As a believer I know it is Gods' will.
SkytheNinja 1 year ago
@Ammyai Consider the verses above. It is important for us as believers to know that Jesus was a ransom payed for our sins. Became a sinner for us. If i am talking to non believer with only logic and rationalization, a person of no faith or lack of understanding, it is better for us to say the truth and to make understanding to them. You can't force faith onto someone who is using rationalization to deter the bible. There is many parts that are hard to grasp. Ask God for answer in that situation.
SkytheNinja 1 year ago
@Ammyai My debate was not that Jesus committed Sin. Jesus never sinned but He was made a sinner and it is written even in the bible.
SkytheNinja 1 year ago

Well according to the KJV he is by using your logic(or lack)
jbh2816 1 year ago
@jbh2816 Only if you call someone a fool without cause, my good man. In fact, in 5:22 in pure translation, without a cause is in there. Same sentence.
But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,(Contempt)' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.
SupremeAmerican 1 year ago
@SupremeAmerican Sorry, but it doesn't say "without a cause" with the fool statement, and the sentence isn't constructed for it to apply to all three. And in reality, who really ever gets angry without a cause? If you just get angry for no reason, you may have some mental issues to deal with. Is the KJV teaching that just because you have a reason to be angry it's OK? Of course not.
jbh2816 1 year ago
@jbh2816 Actually it is constructing the entire sentense around the basis of "Without a cause", that would seem to be the pre-requisite for each basis of accusation talked about.
SupremeAmerican 1 year ago
@jbh2816 Well actually it is "Without Cause" Not without a cause. So kinda like, if a newborn baby takes a shit on your floor, and you call him a fool, that is doing so without cause. The baby did not know what he was doing was wrong, so therefore, to get angry at him, genuinely angry, is without cause.
SupremeAmerican 1 year ago
@SupremeAmerican No need to cuss during a discussion about the Bible. Without a cause(as in the KJV) is only for the first as it is worded. If it was at the end, then you would have a point. And yes, if a baby poops on the floor and you get mad at him, you have a cause. It's because he pooped on the floor. Now, should you? No. Do you have a good cause? No, But it doesn't say for a good cause, just a cause. The point is that it isn't a doctrinal issue and it doesn't make Jesus a sinner.
jbh2816 1 year ago
@jbh2816 I'm not saying it makes jesus a sinner. I see no evidence ever produced of jesus committing one sin, none, none at all.
SupremeAmerican 1 year ago
@jbh2816 The only way jesus ever could have possibly sinned, is if he was lying when he said he was the son of god. I do not think he was lying.
SupremeAmerican 1 year ago
@SupremeAmerican I agree with you that Jesus was not a sinner. I was referring to the video in trying to say that Jesus was a sinner if the words "without a cause" are not there. I wasn't trying to imply that you thought he was. Sorry if it came across that way.

it really doesnt matter the bible is finally getting read by people instead of preachers picking and choosing what should be studied and apologized for. the more u read it the more it reveils that its contradictry and above all else, its evil with all it promotes. slavery, segregation, belief over knowledge. the only reason people give a Damn is because a vast majority are taught that the bible is true through child indoctrination. without that the bible would crumble.
Frater8 1 year ago
@Frater8 The more you read it with an intent to search for God and know God, the more God will reveal Himself to you. Before the Law of God, man was very evil. They killed, pillaged, raped daughters and mothers. They burned farms and made slaves of uncivilized people, they were cannibals. God saw this evil and He flooded the world. It was the Law of God that brought order to man in the first place. Yet today you say that it is reason why there is evil in this world.
SkytheNinja 1 year ago
@SkytheNinja Seeing the wars that still go on and the terrorism I see gods plan of flooding the world really did the trick. Moses was the one that said to divide and conquer kill everyone except the virgin girls so you can have them as mates. You have some fucking nerve to call the kettle black. You're asking me to read the bible in a subservant way instead of using my critical thinking skills. Jesus condones slavery otherwise he wouldnt have told slaves to obey their masters.
Frater8 1 year ago
@Frater8 Aside from bible and being strictly logical back then people killed murdered rape and took your own child out of your arms and made them into slaves. Do you agree? They were not even punished for it because there were no laws. The only way people defended each other was through murder and war and family or friends. There was absolutely no order because there was no law. Moses was given the Law of God for the Isrealites. His law was very specific. If you sinned you died. No forgiveness.
SkytheNinja 1 year ago
@Frater8 So you know why he spared virgins? He spared them because they did not have sexual relations outside of marriage. Do you know why he demanded woman and man to die. they worshiped idols and committed adultery. They lied and stole. Isrealites were subjected to the highest degree of punishment for disobeying the Law. It was death..Isrealites had there own law. It wasn't the law of everyone only the Jews.
SkytheNinja 1 year ago
@Frater8 God flooded the world to cleanse it of evil. God saw all of man as evil except for a few that went into the ark ..everyone else was evil. Ultimately, God made a promise that he will not cleanse the world through water again but rather through fire. Logically, you can assume that God knows eventually our humanity will lead to sin and chaos otherwise He would not have made it be known that there is a second cleansing.
SkytheNinja 1 year ago
@Frater8 We are better off today then we were back then. It is because we had the Law of God. The Law of Isrealites demanded death for sin. In Leviticus sacrifice and in the new testament Jesus reveals all man as sinners no matter what, so only through Him you can be saved. My point is that your logic is wrong because you compare this time to that time when at that time slavery and worse was going on. Do you have your tongue cut out for speaking your mind against an official?
SkytheNinja 1 year ago
and the Dead Sea Scroll has way more truth to it than this book does... Religion is a tax free organization... lazy ppl only want to become preachers... instead of building a church try uniting a world full of angry politicians who brought forth religion just to DIVIDE PPL.. Religion only divides ppl.. and this is a fact
HISArroGancE 1 year ago
@HISArroGancE Yes but you have to understand that no matter what there is no way to create peace on earth. There is nothing that can be done to create a paradise on earth. It is written in bible. If we had no religion which is the foundation of our current laws there will still be chaos. people still fight over race as well as color. Over ownership and pride. There is so much hatred for many different things. Honestly we are inclined to hate and if you read bible you will know reason why.

What an inspirational prophecy!

Jesus is a human, Son of God, but humans are not perfect, and one of them is Jesus.
oknautubeko41 2 years ago
Jesus is not a man honey. He came into the world in the form of a man. But he is a supernatural being.
Bold4Christ2 2 years ago
@Bold4Christ2
How can you understand the supernatural enough to conclusively judge that this fine child is a supernatural entity when your mind is in fact entirely natural?
KyazuTheInsane 2 years ago
What do you mean Judge? What I declared is a statement. My mind may be natural but I have a supernatural relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That is supernatural. I cant see the Lord but I feel him. What are you actually implying? That Jesus Christ is a natural being, and because my body is a natural thing I cant Believe this? Air is a natural thing but its supernatural to believe that it exists. Fact I can breathe because of it.
Bold4Christ2 2 years ago
Did you check what perfect means? Our father in heaven wants us to be perfect like Him. Look at Matthew 5 in it's entirety and at the very end and see that if you love your neighbor AND your enemy, you are perfect as Our father in heaven. Jesus died for all sinners, friends and enemies that's what makes Him perfect. If you dispute this, Sleeper! AWAKEN!!!

The rest of that verse says: "..but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire"
Psalm 14:1 says: "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God."
Was David in danger of hell for calling those who do not believe in God a "fool?"
And are all Christians who repeat that verse to any unbeliever in God also in danger of hell fire?
buddyboy55 2 years ago
Come on dude?! You're really stretching it. David was describing one of the characteristics of a fool. One that would say "There is no God." will find he fits the bill. Jesus was talking about telling a specific person "thou fool" in context regarding how deep "thou shalt not kill goes." Geez can we just stay in context so we don't float off into fantasy land?
tonyvetrano54 1 year ago
I'm not "stretching it" at all. The Bible makes that very clear statement, and because it doesn't fit your belief system, I'm thus "floating off into fantasy land?" And if you are a Christian, I'm actually surprised you would use a slang word for the name Jesus. You took the name of the Lord in vain, fella.
buddyboy55 1 year ago
Geez did I really say the name of Jesus in vain? You are not interested in context so to you I speak the name of the Great King in vain. So tell me Who is the fool that has said in his heart There is no God? Really you must know the answer. And who says I'm a christian. You took a ffew words I wrote and cooked up "christian."
tonyvetrano54 1 year ago
So prove I took the name of the Lord in vain? Prove it according to scripture. What is it to take His name, first of all and then tell me what it is to take His name in vain. Quote the commandment if you want to. Could it be that maybe your letter killeth but the spirit maketh alive....
tonyvetrano54 1 year ago
Could it bee that Jesus who IS the fulfillment of the law and the prophets by his own words has made the commandment complete in His utterances in Matthew 5? This isn't my "belief system" dude. This is the plain word of God. Isn't His word worth reading in context? The Bereans of Paul's day thought so. You know in thessalonica? they searched the scriptures daily to say if the things he said were so or not.
tonyvetrano54 1 year ago
I can't say anything else but I am not a christian according to your reckoning but what I am I am and what you are you are according to the reckoning of the word of God. He will judge us both!
tonyvetrano54 1 year ago
The context is as clear as a bell - read it. And "geez" is slang for "Jesus" and thus you are taking His name in vain. And as far as you being a Christian, notice I said "if."
buddyboy55 1 year ago
Taking the Lord's name in vain will be saying ohh my gosh, i cant really say it because im a christian. or getting mad or angry and saying the name Jesus Christ in a statement. Unless your refering to or praying to Jesus then therefore that argument is invalid.
RideWitChrist 1 year ago
This is one more example of the shoddy logic of the KJV only model. The psalmist (followed by the Apostle Paul) noted that one can be angry and sin not. Anger not fueled by fleshly passion, nor not used as an excuse to sin is not sinful. Thus, to make Jesus a sinner for His righteous indignation because of 3 missing words is misconstruing what Jesus did. Missing words or not, Jesus' anger was righteous anger, not sinful anger.
hallockd 2 years ago
Part of your comment doesnt make sense and it seems that you completely misunderstood the video. David never said that Jesus had or showed unrighteous anger. Nor did David say that Jesus was a sinner. He pointed out that taking out those three words, without a cause, from Jesus statement makes Jesus look like He sinned. Those three words are what qualifies Jesus anger as righteous anger. Jesus had a cause. But Bibles that take out those three words makes Jesus contradict the statement of

Paul in Eph. 4:26, be ye angry, and sin not. By the way, be angry and sin not isnt what it says in Psalm 4:4, unless you think the LXX is better than the Hebrew.
pdflm 2 years ago
@pdflm
KyazuTheInsane 2 years ago
@KyazuTheInsane
You're going to hell D:

@hallockd,
The modern bibles remove the word worship from their versions when it refers to people who have met Jesus.
Get a KJV.
Subtitledworship 2 years ago
@Subtitledworship Well bowing and kneeling and calling him Lord and asking if it is in your will for me to be clean. If they would have took out the word "clean," i can see how it would not acknowledge Jesus as son. I consider it worship in all versions just because the world "clean" and "will" are intact. Anyhow there is big flaw between the characteristics of Hell/Sheol/Hades in KJV. The NKJV is better IMO. But the best thing to me is ask God for answer when you read more will be revealed.
SkytheNinja 1 year ago
@Subtitledworship Also consider the fact that Jesus may not have wanted a public worship to preserve His identity. Yes he did accept worship but maybe it was His will that at the time the leper will only bow as a gesture of respect to not alert the guards.
SkytheNinja 1 year ago
@hallocked, Matt 8:2 see how one word changes the verse?
King James Version (KJV) And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
New International Version (NIV)A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean."
New Living Translation (NLT)Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached him and knelt before him. Lord, the man said, if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.
Subtitledworship 2 years ago
@hallockd But with the tree missing words, Jesus then contradicts the Old Testament. The Word of God is so post to have one author and be flawless. My mom is a unbeliever so I know what it's like when people are always saying the Bible contradicts its self because it was written by man.
