he used a megachoptra rotated and sized it up made it more triangler and put spikes at the end

I couldn't figure out how to get a good tail on my own dragon and now you've given me some ideas. The baby dragons feet look way to big on them but all babys are out of proportion in Spore. Haha, nice job!

there is no way to prevent that tail clipping unless I want the tail to be high in the air...

sadly that is a limitation on Spore's part.
