  • IkeF,

Great run with the car. I gather from these comments your running an FD with an LS1. What gears are you using around Mid Ohio? Looks like 3-5th. Are you using the T56 box? I'm interested as I'm taking my Datsun 450Z to the Z Convention at Mid Ohio in a few weeks. Can't wait to run that track.

  • What size RA1's front and rear?

    Also... what coilovers?

    Thanks

  • 255's front, 275's rear. Buddy Club coilovers.

  • Thanks for the reply... i'm building a car just like yours right now with an LS3 and LG cam. How much rwhp if you dont mind?

Also... were you running an accusump system when you lost the motor?

  • Right at 400 rwhp. I did not have an accusump, but certainly do now.

  • Very cool... it sounds great!

What spring rates? your car rotates really well... i've been watching your video's non stop... only FD LS1 road course car on youtube!!

What about your weight? have you weighed the car?

  • 550lbs/in front 450 rear. The car rotated a little too well, so I went back to the stock rear sway bar. Car weighed 2680 with a half tank.

  • Yeah it looks to rotate well... thats a nice weight too.

any words of wisdom before making an LS3 RX7 road race car? delete power steering? keep ABS? I have so many questions.

  • Keep P/S and ABS. Seriously you won't get any advantages at the track by deleting them. The car is lethal as it is with an LSX motor, just need suspension/brakes/tires to keep up!

  • nice driving

  • buy new brakes
