I am a big fan of Jack and Kate like a pairing and to me, they are the OTP couple! I have no doubt about it!

I honestly don't know what it is about jate that just...gets me. I ddin't get into Lost until it's third season, all I knew was I liked 'the burnette' with Matthew Fox. I didn't know her name. The first episode I saw was 'I do', and I was still a jate fan. I just love their story, I find it beautiful, and there is just such a deep connection that I see on Lost.

I get that they aren't the most celebrated couple in Lostverse and that most boards I lurk upon or articles I read are very disparaging about the pairing, but dammit if I can't help but believe in their emotional connection. Partly I think it's because Fox and Lilly always manage to SELL the big scenes and partly b/c J&K are written in a way that their characters are drawn to each other for reasons that they and we the audience don't always understand.

See, it's moments captured in videos like this, along with haunting melodies like that "Life and Death" track that pulls me into the story of Jack and Kate moreso than any other couple on Lost.
