  • I personally am not a big fan of the kilroy stuff but GOD are the songs catchy.

  • I love the whole concept...even with the play...

  • One of my all-time favorite tours! I loved the way they began the show with the short film setting up the story, then suddenly lit up the stage (same one as seen here) as Mr. Roboto started playing...

  • Even though i love tommy...i think he was nuts for leaving this tour... it rocks

  • @SnareForLife1995 he didnt leave this tour. he left the band after this tour. Partly becuase of the fact he didnt like the way dennis was taking th band and partly becuase he didnt like deniis anywys

  • @nicholasfarrell76 n, he left in the middle and A & M called it a hand problem but tommy left and when he came back he said no robtos or i leave but he did leave the band after the tour was done

  • damn so good this

  • Oh the memories!!!

They where Golden then.. And there Diamond now. Perfect!

  • how funny, after being critical of a "production" show with "lines" and "costumes" Tommy is cashing what he can make off of Rock of Ages now, but splitting it with Kevin Cronin(REO) seems like Dennis wasn't too far off, just 30 yrs...visionary? I'm sure Dennis might take a phone call...pal!

  • 2 people are letting it end

  • the only one who disliked this video is simply retarded.

  • opening night kc there

  • this was my shit off roboto!dennis deyoung off the chain wit dis jam

  • It was an amazing concert. Like nothing else of the time. I still have a T-Shirt from it:-) Unfortunately it wasn't a huge success and fueled tensions in the band. There is no Styx without Dennis.

  • @flaeke i agree compleetly

  • Chicos sois los mejores, os sigo desde mi infancia!! Gracias por vuestra musica!!

  • This was an era in music that was amazing. If you were not there, I am sorry, but you missed it. My tastes in music have changed also, but these were the best of times.

  • The most lame band of the 80's...they get no play on classic rock stations in Canada

  • @nobadges Go back to CANADA...FuckFace

  • @nobadges What? Canada has classic rock stations? Ah, i was thinking you got some faggot country stations... like cowboys hardly playing with the lazo...

BTW i love country and, indeed, i'm not gay. You know what i mean?

  • @nobadges oh, well Canada can suck it.

  • thats one Bad-ass guitar!

  • I wish that I was there! and maybe even alive would be great!

  • this is just cheesy.

  • Man this album was embarassing. How did they get from Paradise theater to this!

  • @SpudAlmighty Dennis deyoung wanted to save kilroy for a solo project but A&M wanted styx to have ONE more album. Dennis used this opprutunity to make the Kilroy was here album with Styx.

  • thanks mam for movies

  • WOW, Those were the days.....

  • Spectacular

  • Sorry, I am a huge 80's fan but Styx trying to do a rock opera? That's like GWAR doing ballet.

  • @bryandamadman Well... The Who did it. And Queen did Bohemian Rhapsody. And both those concepts were WAY out there. What makes this so impossible? GWAR doing ballet? THAT is impossible.

  • Man, the band isn't the same without DeYoung partying on stage with them all, they had so much fun on stage it looks awesome! If only I was alive in the 80's

  • This is beyond GAY.

  • dude, this is real music. Music before it lost the soul and fun. Music when you needed skill to be on stage, not a hundred voice modulators and back up dancers. They're havin' a real ball on stage, really enjoying themselves. It's not gay, it's the way music came along before modern times screwed it all up.

  • he says enroll at the beginning. I know it's supposed to b long live rock aN ROLL, but it's funny

  • hey guys pls tell in witch album is this song??

  • I think the only way to own this recording is to buy the "Caught in the Act" dvd, (I'm not even sure that it's on that). This song isn't on any album. This was the finale to their 1983 "Kilroy was Here" show. I saw a show on that tour and it was alternately entertaining and embarrassing. The music was awesome being the audience tended laugh as the poor band acted out their "roles" onstage. It was a bad idea and it essentially broke up the band. The DVD is pretty fascinating to watch, though.

  • This DVD was recorded over 4 nights at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans. I was at the 2nd of the 4, and it was one of the most fun concerts I've ever been to, although the acting by the band members on-stage was beyond cheesy. The Saenger was absolutely ravaged by Katrina, and they finally announced plans to restore it a few months ago.

  • This song is on the Kilroy Was Here album (last song on Side Two of the album). The live version is only on the Caught In The Act concert film. The studio version of this reprise while good hasn't aged well whilst this live version sounds like it was recorded yesterday. What I like about the live version is the extended intro and outro plus Dennis DeYoung shouts out The Coasters, The Beatles and The Beach Boys.

  • Kilroy was here. last song after (i think) haven't we been here before (an excelent song too) for sure it's on Kilroy was Here though. It also had Mr. Roboto (domo arigoto mr roboto), heavy metal poisoning and cold war.

  • @Walllllo

The studio version of this song is the last track on the 1983 album, "Kilroy was Here."

  • the recording kind of sucked but this kicked ass. i wish dennis was still with them...

  • this is the same kinda chicago wack that made jonathan brandmeier popular.

  • Hey, styxfan! Doesn't this DVD also have the video for the normal version of this song? I believe the guys are in the jail when they sing it. Read about it & thought it would be interesting to see them in jailsuits. Could you possibly post it? :-)

  • The video is on the Caught In The Act DVD as is all of the promo videos from Cornerstone, Paradise Theatre, Kilroy Was Here and even "Music Time" and the original promo film of "Come Sail Away".

  • Uups 2times, sorry.

    Greetings, Stefan
