In the training i do inorder to recieve the equivalent of a black belt you have to walk into a room of opponents and defeat ALL full contact. im not talking trash im only saying martial arts has turned soft and anybody who really cares about truly winning in a street fight should do Real Training
If you quit early at a lesser monthly amount, they make you pay the difference that you did not have to pay . example : if you pay 150 per month for two years, and quit early, then you have to pay 100 bucks for every month that you recieved a discount! THIS IS A TOTAL RIP OFF!

Kempo is an awesome martial art, but they are a very greedy...greedy...greedy....greedy....greedy organization. They charge $250.00 a month! And they FORCE you to go to tournaments and events!
I believe in ussd. I just started teaching and I will take my belief and pride in this organization to my grave. That is a very extreme statement, but feel free to adjust it as you see nessecary. I love ussd. Share the magic.
Perhaps it is a really good service, but it is costly...even 10 years ago I checked out a studio in Claremont, CA and the price was sky high, even back then ($400 a month)! What's important though is that you do something, no matter how you get your start.

compared to what..ATA? 3-4 tip tests per belt? Monstly is based on private instruction go anywhere and see for yourself with private lessons most places are about the same in my experience.

USSD takes 30% of profits and the principal investors take 35% of profits, leaving the chief instructor 35% of profits, if i'm not mistaken from the information in the investor's brochure. If you have no students signed up yet, USSD floats you $500/week to live comfortably. If you're good enough to have a Mega 250 dojo, you make $100K+ as a chief... but it's a hell of alot of work growing a dojo to that size... and you have to be a passionate teacher and businessperson to do so.
It's also worthwhile to note that due to the Shaolin business connection some of that 35% of your tuition as a USSD student is directed to Abbot Shi Yongxin, who reinvests it in the Shaolin temple, establishing new Shaolin temples (like the one in Chicago), and revitalizing Henan province.
@KempoMaster205 Actually for whatever reason there were many masters who left USSD. Villari left Cerio, Charles Mattera left Villari and went to (Villari's teacher) Nick Cerio. The Kempo saga continues, at least you still have a dojo to train at, keep it up...

I trained with charlee mattera as well and he can't kick or remember anything! The guy only knows Martial arts bad business practices. He hires felons to run his schools with no background checks. All his Masters Richard Black Hans, Kris E all have criminal records.
Ussd only got to where there at because mattera screwed over everyone GM Villari, GM Cerio, and then last year GM Demasco couldn't take his bullshit anymore and left. At Demasco's you can own your dojo.

no. i fought danjo WEEKS after diego did. danjo was very nice and was full of honor. i accidentally hit danjo in the face, which turned his helmet to the side. then i hit him again, which pushed the mask into his face and cut him in two places. i studied BKF Kenpo when i was a kid. then i studied USSD Kempo. and i just started Gracie BJJ because there aren't any good Kempo schools where I moved to.I have to admit I liked all three because all of my instructors LOVED to fight!!!

so many bjj schools won't even train females. i have been studying for a year and a half. i also had to compete in 4 tournaments to get the rank. it's a fun journey.

When you're in a system like USSD or even Fred Villari, it's like being in a cult. They don't want you to know the other one exists. Diego is a martial artist...he's demonstrating skills he not only learned from USSD but also outside sources. Villari is mostly an East Coast thing, and like I've said before, you guys really aren't. Perhaps it is a really good service, but it is costly...even 10 years ago I checked out a studio in Claremont, CA and the price was sky high, even back then ($400 a month)! What's important though is that you do something, no matter how you get your start.

compared to what..ATA? 3-4 tip tests per belt? Monstly is based on private instruction go anywhere and see for yourself with private lessons most places are about the same in my experience.

USSD takes 30% of profits and the principal investors take 35% of profits, leaving the chief instructor 35% of profits, if i'm not mistaken from the information in the investor's brochure. If you have no students signed up yet, USSD floats you $500/week to live comfortably. If you're good enough to have a Mega 250 dojo, you make $100K+ as a chief... but it's a hell of alot of work growing a dojo to that size... and you have to be a passionate teacher and businessperson to do so.

I trained with charlee mattera as well and he can't kick or remember anything! The guy only knows Martial arts bad business practices. He hires felons to run his schools with no background checks. All his Masters Richard Black Hans, Kris E all have criminal records.
Ussd only got to where there at because mattera screwed over everyone GM Villari, GM Cerio, and then last year GM Demasco couldn't take his bullshit anymore and left. At Demasco's you can own your dojo.

no. i fought danjo WEEKS after diego did. danjo was very nice and was full of honor. i accidentally hit danjo in the face, which turned his helmet to the side. then i hit him again, which pushed the mask into his face and cut him in two places. FREAK ACCIDENT! i stopped before any more accidental damage was done. any more questions bajabltz?

fanara...he started it, so i finished it. i didn't bother looking up the spelling because i was too busy backing up my ideals. unlike most people that like to talk about their art, i like to show my interpretation of it.
i studied BKF Kenpo when i was a kid. then i studied USSD Kempo. and i just started Gracie BJJ because there aren't any good Kempo schools where I moved to.I have to admit I liked all three because all of my instructors LOVED to fight!!!

VILLARI CAME UP WITH SHAOLIN KEMPO. Obviosly, you can't even follow your own 5 principle rules. Plus, here's the funny thing. When you're in a system like USSD or even Fred Villari, it's like being in a cult. They don't want you to know the other one exists. Diego is a martial artist...he's demonstrating skills he not only learned from USSD but also outside sources. Villari is mostly an East Coast thing, and like I've said before, you guys really aren't. You have like 5 schools back east. Where I live, I don't have a USSD or Fred Villari's near me...thank God there's none. I might end up like you, full of hate.

I wouldn't train with you if you paid me (and BTW, Bank of America wouldn't have enough money to pay me to train with you). I just wish you guys would give credit where credit is due. I say the same crap on other people's clips in other Martial Arts that do the same thing that USSD does to Fred Villari.

credit unions aren't bad...at least they aren't collapsing left and right like the rest of the banks in the USA. seeing every move and doing it right is a whole different thing. BTW, i also think the video and online training thing is a joke. who's going to tell you if you're doing it right? it's just lame. unless your mustang is a 65, forget it. i'm not cruising in it. just so you guys know, i'm not agreeing with any of the FV people except on the history of where you guys came from.

Easy.........all the wanna bees who r being over shadowed by USSD r starting to cry & weep about how Professor.Mattera tried to rip off Villary when all he did was creat a system that wasnt named after one person. Hence, United Studios OF Self Defense, not Ed Parkers Karate/Kenpo or Villaris Karate/Kenpo. Their just being little biths about everything & anything.

Funny...United Studios of Self Defense was Fred Villari's company's name before it was Mattera's. Fred Villari's USSD started in 1968. You guys started in 1988 because you broke off. You really don't know the history of your own system do you? Do you realize that the majority of the forms for after 1st Black are made up by Fred Villari? Sho Tung Quak, Northern, Southern Nenglis, Invincible Wall, Tai Si Mong, Snake Fist...all Fred Villari. Pretty creative for a person that you guys hate...

No What I see is someone trying to find ways of not coming over. First it's that I have to come up with money. Then it's I have to go to some smoker in East LA. You're always throwing up road blocks to avoid the original challenge which was to come by under the conditions I named. If someone challenges you and you up the ante rather than accept, you're trying to avoid the challenge. Oh, my mom said you left your sword with your butt-plug there and you can send your boyfriend over for them.

Dude, you don't learn. The last time you threw down a challenge, you had your ass respectfully handed to you. Now you are going to try it again? Go lick your wounds and learn to accept the fact you should not mistake kindness for weakness before you end up getting hurt. If you are still aching for another fight, I think it can be arranged. However, my age is a lot closer to yours, so that won't be a factor. Also, I think we should forgo the headgear, it makes my hair all sweaty.

Like I said come over and we'll get in a good sparring session and we'll see what you can do. The headgear can be of your choosing, but liability requires the use of safety equipment. It's not Blood Sport, just a chance for you to come over and see how we match up. Three two-minute rounds with two-minute breaks.
