Sehr goot video! This is one aspect of synth ownership that is often neglected. I watched from beginning to end nonstop. It inspired me to clean my keyboards now. Danke schoen.
This is perhaps my favourite of all my favourite youtube videos! And you know what else? I sold my Korg Trident Mk1 and am now intent on buying a Lambda!!! :)
The sound quality has not changed at all. But the feeling whilst playing this machine has enormously changed! You cannot imagine how dirty it FELT before I cleaned it. But the keys have even become a bit more reliable after cleaning the contacts. All in all the days of cleaning this beauty have payed off! It is a synth I will always remember as a very good one. I sold the Lambda, though. Because I have a KORG Trident (and a demo of THIS one is planned for this year).
No, I'm sorry! This beauty has already been sold for 480 EUR this summer. I sold it, because my KORG Trident has far more potential. The Lambda was sweet, though! :o)
Nice job! I love the part where you put the keys back and the notes play. It's good to see people who take great care of their gear. The Lambda was the first synth I ever bought new. Watching and listening to this makes me want to go clean it up and play it!
Just do it! It's a pure pleasure to play on a synth that's been cleaned! Almost two years ago I got my Korg M1 EX to replace my "normal" M1. This thing had the dirtiest keyboard I had ever come across. I didn't really play or touch it till the day everything has finally been cleaned and serviced.

Wow! Are you serious? Okay, each to his own, but I won't sell my Trident to buy a Lambda again! And thanks for your nice words! :o)

Wow, nice job on cleaning! Did the sound quality change at all from the cleaning? I think I have to pick up one of these synths.
