oh god, i had to personally route a paper up the chain to the commander on my day off. 6 hours later i finally get to the commander and despite the fact that every detail on the paper was perfect she made me go back to thhe beginning and re-route it because it was in a BLUE FOLDER and not a GREEN FOLDER. 2 hours later i've succesfully re-route the paper (in a green folder and record time) only to sit outside the commanders office for a hour before her secretary informs me that she's gone home!!

This kind of shit isn't just attributed to the MX Officers.. it trickles down to MOC where I work. We are the ones who have to actually deal with building the slides. The whole "lime green with a yellow border" is a daily occurence in my shop. We are always changing piddly stupid shit on the slides for a bunch of old men who are so far disconnected from actual MX, the only thing they care about is color schemes, rainbows, and the difference between 11 and 12 point font.
