Kris Won and He did deserve to win. Anyone of the top 10 deserved to be the AI and not just Adam like his fans believe. Adam was unique and a good singer but Most people didn't like his voice over Kris. Kris has a softer, warmer voice and fit better with the final song. Kris won my vote and many other's votes. That's it, Period. Adam has talent but the Majority of Americans that voted, wanted to listen to Kris.

How their records shape out to be will really depend on Them as artists. I don't understand using your energy to imply how Kris will fail, which you have no way to know. i really hate bashing other contestants just to make others think or make your fave contestant seem better. people have choices, have different tastes. it's just that kris' music appealed more to the masses than adam's. i am a huge adam fan but i'm really sick of this derogatory remarks thrown at them. kris is talented too! i admit i was a bit shattered that my choice didn't win but adam is fine. he is happy. the end of it.

kris deserves respect he obviously got votes beacause of muscial talent. and if we are gonna say he got votes because of his good looks then we should say the same for adam who is also pretty hot if i do say so myself.

kris and adam have different sounds that different people apperciate so i think saying one is more talented or a better singer then the other really isn't fair in this case because they are to different to compare.

I was rooting for Kris to win for w ahile until it came for the finale and to be honest I started feeling uneasy cuz I really felt that Adam has way more skill and talnt, plus he has a wicked voice and style. That's not to take away from Kris. But honestly, listening back to Adam again, that guy had some mad talent, which he presented in diverse ways. Very different than most singers...and I like that.

I am so happy kris won american Idol!!!! I hated the song that they both sang it sucked but I just adore kris I am so happy for him!

Adam was spectacular though--always gave a helluva show but he was already out there, doing gigs in performances..so I felt like Kris really deserved it more.

Kris actually made the song sound better than either performance last night, when he won. It wasn't a total train wreck of a song this time and the meaning behind it meant a lot more since he was singing it as the winner of such a huge competition. So the lyrics were not quite as cheesy but made sense. Kara has written some MUCH better songs though...check out "Taking Chances" and "Strangers & Angles" I think it's called. I would love to be a singer/songwriter. Congratulations KRIS!!
