Sounds like your a UK Duc fan. My other bike is a 850 Commando Norton Mk.III. The Duc's are great bikes. The new 1098's can dice it up with the current crop of inline liter bikes. That said the new R1 looks like it could be a game changer. You should get out to the track. I read TWO and the other UK bike mags. You have some awesome tracks to choose from. Once you get a chance to test your limits on the track. Say goodbye to your savings account. Ken
Say goodbye to my savings in what way ? Is it because I will like it too much or maybe bin it lol. Im happy to ride slightly slower to try and keep my machine in one piece. I don't know if the r1 will be a game changer considering the new 1098 will now be 1198. We will never know fully what a machine is capable of unless our name is rossi. lol. Its really the ride who makes the bigest difference but I personaly love the way ducati's steer and their power delivery. The main thing is fun.
It's a small track and favors the 600's. The bike is still more capable than me. I am also running stock gearing because I also ride some of the larger east coast tracks and it's just not economical to switch back and forth. This is for fun not racing. Glad you liked the video.
