Are you using DOSBox? If you are then at the menu go to Sound and select AdLib/SoundBlaster for music.

If not, get a Windows 98 machine and get a SoundBlaster card. You can usually get one for about $5.

Oh yeah, that's what I used to record this video. There is a way to play it legitimately though, just get a copy of 98, install it on a computer with a 90s SoundBlaster card (They're usually $5) and there you go.

This was the first and only game which ran on my IBM 386 computer so I addicted to it very much:) I still love playing with it, it reminds me to the old times:) I think the old games had a much better gameplay than the newer ones. The simple graphics, and simple gameplay sometimes make you feel a part of a game much more than the high detalied ones. I still shit my pants when a nazi zombie or what or a soldier suddenly appears in front of me from the nothing or starts to shoot me from behind:D

That's because it's an MS-DOS game. MS-DOS is incompatible with systems 2000 and up. That's why you got DOSBox.

This game did start it all. I played this when I was 8 or so, on my cousin's PC. Several years later, PFS games like Goldeneye 007, Duke Nukem, Doom and Quake were all popular on the N64, but this game was the precursor. N64 brought FPS to the masses, but Wolfenstein is the original.

Personally, I enjoyed Duke the most as a kid, between the big guns, the sexuality and the trash talk, it just made it so much fun. :)

It all depends how well your opponent's aim is. On only the second level of difficulty, I once had a guard take me down from 100% health to 7% in a single shot.

The officers are also more fearsome partly because their aim is better and they react faster. The trick is to shoot before they get a chance to aim, or keep moving. You can often stare down a bunch of guards safely for several seconds by using bullets to keep their aim poor.

I wish other games had such tactics.

Uh... most of those were done before. Reloading was done almost 6 years later with Duke 3D (He reloaded his pistol). Then 2 years later Half Life came out with reloading for all the weapons, and Half Life came out 3 years before Halo did.

The enemy AI wasn't that good. Half Life's had similar AI before that. Regenerating Health was crap. It made the game far to easy
