i have had pet rats before and they don't smell but now when i get feeder rats for my pet snake they smell like ass i have no clue what is going on

Muffin is an adorable dumbo. My rats would let me and my daughter put them on their backs as long as we kept rubbing their chins and bellies. Muffin is too cute.
