  • i think that in the end a third unknown foe jumps into battle and slashes their heads off, and disappearing as fats as he comes in

  • I think either they both fell off or neither one fell off..it doesn't sound like the bad guy won, but it doesn't sound like the good guy won either. It does sound like an epic battle though :D

  • i think the good guy fall cause the notes a lighter and almost sad. :(

  • the bad guy fell because the end sounds like as if evil has been conquered and he is falling and falling while the good guy watches the evil wash away.

  • I seriously cannot fathom how anyone says that the good guy fell off. CLEARLY anyone who thinks that has never listened to this piece beyond the violin entrance. The section after this violin entrance is incredibly peaceful and joyful. The entrance is a simple "Sturm und Drang" moment which is resolved by peace and resolution. Obviously, the bad guy did not win

  • @AbsoluteZ3R0 Oh, and let's not forget the rest of the concerto which is also very happy

  • OOps, I meant a-minor.

  • @RCCola339 There is only one, and it is in D major

  • Which Brahm's violin concerto is it? b-minor? -RC mom

  • I really love this. You may have saved me..my task was to find swordplay music for a pre-electricity setting. -RC's mom

  • I somehow get the imagery of two master samurai women clashing over something tragic... not sure who won but it sounds like either of them fell.

  • I vote the good guy was knocked off however the battle is far from over.

  • Good guy got knocked off

  • I think the good guy fell off the cliff... the toned was foreboding and made me think something tragic and sad would happen at the end, so I say the bad guy won

  • Good guy!

  • And yet again, the green like bar comes out on top!

  • it's a violin, so it's gotta be a sad ending- bad guy loses

  • somebody make amv with bleach clips xD

  • I think that regardless who won ... you and your violin playing skills just gave me inspiration for a life time

  • Hello Ben, Good or bad fellows are relative figures of merit. Both hate violence but circumstances brought them in this position. The piece wouldn't be of any value without the contribution of both.

I like your work. Keep on with it. Douwe

  • sounds like the good guy knocked the bad guy off the cliff - because if the bad guy had knocked the good guy off the cliff then the notes would likely become longer, and intense

  • Sounds like the good guy fell :(

  • Sounds like the good guy came down from the expression of the music

  • lololololol 9999 viewer!!! :-)

  • good guy ends up kneeling on the edge of the cliff only to look up and see the bad guy remove his hood only to reveal that its his brother, but the brother (bad guy) wanted vengeance for believing that the good guy supposedly killed the rest of their family which the good guy really didn't do but instead lets his brother decide then he falls back wards off the cliff only to barely survive and be cured and healed but an old sage

  • @Sixofsick so true

  • good guy fell

  • The good guy fell from the cliff

  • they both fell off the cliff.. ... D:

  • I felt like a sword from one of them got knocked off. does the rest of the piece say other wise?

  • Bad guy goes down.

  • good guy got knocked off

  • I think the good guy got knocked off because if the bad guy got knocked off, there would be happy, yay-you-win music at the end instead of the ominous falling-like music.

  • Yes, it is a swordfight. But no, there is no good and bad guy... one went down the cliff the other stayed alive. Forget fairytales.

    >Awesome song.

  • Good guy knocked bad guy off the cliff, yaey! Cos it ends on a good note :) a major key.

  • I think that the bad guy won because the whole song sounded like something bad is going to happenand even the ending gets slower which is a sighn that the good guy has fallen

  • Good guy wins. It ends with a major feel rather than minor. If the bad guy won, I'm pretty sure we'd here a very minor feel with lots of low tones on the G string. Nicely played by the way!

  • Comment removed

  • bad guy won imo because the music at the end sounded like something terrible had happened and not that something victorious had been accomplished

  • ._. They both fell off...

  • Good guys finish last

  • Bad Guy Wins.

  • ya I think the bad guy won as well

  • The bad guy won. A good guy would just prevent the bad guy from fighting again like hitting the bad guy's hands or something. He wouldn't kill him.

  • hes clearly stoked on life :)

  • draw

  • nice commentary :P

  • my kids say the good guy knocked the bad guy off! :)

  • the good guy is the good guy because he is the one who wins

  • I'd say bad guy won. THIS TIME.

  • you paint quite a picture :D good guy always win, though haha

  • ichigo just got knocked off by ulquiorra :D

  • Good guy, most definitely!

  • music can plant images in your mind... Inception!!

  • It was the Bad Guy.

And Im here today to prove to youtube I'm still I live.

    I WON!

  • powerful

I just imagine those guys battling

  • i dont think either of them won. ben won with his amazing violin skills O.o

  • Both were once very close friends but one turned evil and this was their last fight where they would battle to the death. in the end the bad guy ends up falling down the cliff with the good guy trying to catch him but fails. Sadness ensues

  • Bad guy won. Cause usually when the good guy wins, it sounds all major and happy...well that's what I think =P love ur vids!

  • The Bad guy won, and the good guy landed in a forest, where he meets a small village and thats where the game begins

  • Bad Guy won

  • bad guy =(

  • Good guy was on a hunt for his long lost brother. He was told of Soldier who was capable of killing over 1000 men alone. Hearing this, gave him more strength to seek his brother. One day on his search, he finds a someone about to kill a man relatively about his age. Seeing this, makes him think of his brother. He pulls out the sword to attack. they battle to the death.

  • @rockinlexine He would do anything to save his brother. When the battle has ended the man he saves, turns out to be an evil murderer, and the man the guy had killed, was his long lost brother. He then looks towards his blade, and turns it upon himself.

  • the bad guy won because of the sound of the music

  • They both fell off. Bad guy knocked off good. But when he was going to laugh he walked to close to edge and tripped over a pebble

  • Good guy has died but the bad guy is not so bad as he takes a brief second before he puts away his sword, still lips and sharp eyes he turns and walks away knowing he is the only one strong enough to defeat the true evil that threatens the land. hehehehahahahohoho

  • that was awesome i play piano but kinda want learn violin after watching this i think the bad guy won but the good guy didnt give up he put the last of his energy into his final attack and sacrifices himself

  • paul dateh is better....seems like a rip off of violince

  • @booleanmaster

So something composed by a famous composer long ago is something ripped off a teenager?

  • But the good guy is not dead but defeated

  • Sadly but true the bad guy won

  • Bad guy knocks the good guy off the cliff. But the good guy is not dead just defeated. I sense that there's some body of water down below that cushioned his/her fall. The bad guy will not be victorious for long. The bad guy may have won the battle but he/she did not win the war.

  • The bad guy knocked the good guy. If the good guy had knocked the bad guy, music would have stopped there -dominant has to be solved. :P

  • er, bad guy won. Instead of having a slow-mo song at the end it would've had a song of relief like "*sigh* i finally did it" feel to it but the ending of this song didn't have that feeling. It was more of a good guy falls to his doom while the bad guy looks over the cliff triumphantly.

  • @xXMelleeeXx i agree

  • of course! Brahms WAS thinking about anime characters when he wrote this piece!!!!! .......*awkward silence*

  • the bad guy won and had that mad, sadist smiled ( wich scared me)o.o

    and then laugh like kira

  • Bad guy won.

  • Unfortunately the bad guy won.

  • Bad guy knocked the good guy. He's like supah ominous and what not, wears a red cloak, and bada boom bada bing. He got style.

  • I love how you're using more contemporary mediums to explain classical masterpieces from the past. Really helps us kids nowadays understand!

Good guy falls because there's no FFVII victory theme afterwards, obviously! ^^

  • Good guy fell, because there's that slow motion fall at the end. Obviously.

  • The bad guy was definitely victorious, this time. I think our protagonist was fighting out of blind rage, and needs to seek a mentor to train him, so he can return and stop the villain once and for all.

  • Bad guy wins

  • I think you should play Never Meant to Belong from Bleach. It's a very pretty song and I think you should do it :D

  • bad guy 1

    good guy 0

  • The bad guy won :) sad but true.

  • Good guy fell cuz before the guy fell it sounded like evil took over and is getting consumed by hollows(whoops i ment darkness)

  • good guy fell

  • I think the good guy fell off.

  • Way too rowdy for my taste. I'm against violence on violins. LoL

    ?;^D

  • @L4sleeko ha, you think THIS is "violent"? XD

  • i think the good guy fell but didn't die, cause it sounds disheartening as he falls, but you dont quite hear the impact. he's probably hanging from a random tree branch...quick! someone help him!

  • God... He's such a nerd. So awesome.

  • The bad guy won because the ending is just to sad for the good guy to have won.

  • Hmm... I'd say that the protagonist was knocked off the cliff- it doesn't sound triumphant enough to have been the good guy winning, so he definitely fell off.

  • the bad guy won due to the sound of the decent

  • the tune was one of falling to doom in the end

    tharefore the good guy died...........

  • Ok, when I googled brahms violin concerto, I don't think I got the right video. can someone post a link of the concerto he's referring to?

  • LOL i wonder how you come up with the sword-fighting idea, now that you mentioned it, brahms violin concerto sounds so much different hahaha and i think the good guy was knocked out by a bad guy hahaha

  • i think the good guy knocked down the bad guy

  • yes uploaded on my birthday..good guy fell off first but grabs the bad guy, they tumble down the cliff side but caught a branch and bad guy falls in the river below lol =)

  • What a gamer imagination.... just like me eheh

  • in this case i would say the bad guy won, and the good guy got knocked of the cliff, but, the good guy ended up surviving so he doesnt know and is walking away while the good guy ends up climbing back up the cliff to finish off the fight ^_^

  • Dude, that was awesome!!!!

  • The good guy knocked the bad guy off the cliff, because good guys never lose :P

  • bad guy.. then i guess there will be a COMEBACK for the good guy. hihihi :))

  • the bad guy

  • Amazing Violin skills! <3 <3 In my head..I just imagine like these heaps handsome anime guys..one good, one bad...like you said..and its so intense. I think that the bad guy won....or like..he was never originally bad and they are actually brothers!!! :O Ahhh..I could keep making up stories about this for hours :)

  • if the good guy won, the song would be over then and there.

  • which movement is this?

  • It sounds like the music is in the perspective of the hero. The strong tones and the leading notes sounds like the hero and he got thrown off the cliff.

  • I think the last clash was really one of the guys stumbling and getting run through at the edge of the cliff and both of them fall

  • I believe the bad guy was victorious, because the ending sounded kind of dark.

  • It was a innocent bistanderd that fell offf...

  • the bad to the good guy...good guy dies XD

  • I think its the bad guy too

  • This makes me think of Mexican soap operas. Curse you Telemundo!

  • It sounds the beginning of a game. The good guy was knocked off the cliff, but he didn't die. The very end sounds like the fade out of a flashback and then we would see the good guy now old who will teach a new hero.

If the bad guy had fallen we would hear the hero's victory fanfare and not a gameover-like music.

  • Good Guy "Bad guy" waits for both people to make it on top of the cliff, before they engage in swordfight.

  • whats this song called?

  • @SuperMorganius dude... 0:03

  • @viojoe11

    thanks....dunno how i missed that

  • good guy

  • I kind of think the good guy fell off the the cliff

  • The good guy got knocked off the cliff. it sounds like a defeat for the hero, because you have the falling down affect as it gets quieter, while it is upsetting.

but then again, you might be way too much into Bleach, according to your last video.

    P.S. Bleach ROCKS! =Þ

  • Good guy....

  • I think you won as an old anime nerd looking for connections in random songs, keep up the good work

  • 1:52 reminds me of some episode of blues clues

  • It could also be the "good guy" won, but only realized after he slayed his enemy, that he just killed someone he knew...

Good/Bad guy is a relative term.

  • What if it wasn't good-guy/bad-guy? I have in mind two one -time friends fighting each other, no matter who wins, everyone loses, hence the sad ending. Almost the same feeling as the Skywalker/Kenobi fight in Star wars III. Brahms made the piece ambiguous O.o

  • Unfortunately the good guy fell off...:( The music sounds very menacing lol. Great job as always!

  • Obviously the good guy fell off the cliff. = )

  • goodguy's gone off the cliff! oh noooooo!!

  • THE GOOD GUY DIED!

OH GOD WHO'S GOING TO SAVE THE DAMSEL!?

  • Brahms had swordfights in mind when he wrote it

  • Somehow I think both of them have suffer. It's a sad "victory" music. So whoever wins must feel bad to, if anyone actually wins that is. Great how you got the idea right in my head!

  • HMMMMM you make it so hard T_T Good guy died

  • The movie starts with the good guy at the bottom of the cliff with amnesia and with flashbacks throughout the movie you learn how he got there. He regains his memories and he and the bad guys face off again, with the good guy winning this time.

OR! It's the final scene, they face off, bad guys knocks the good guy off the cliff and CLIFFHANGER! And in the sequel the good guy still wins.

OR! The good guy and bad guy were once friends hence the sad music when either one dies.

  • @AvengedTony Every time I write "bad guys" I of course mean "bad guy", or do I?

  • The good guy knocks the bad guy off the cliff but the bad guy climbs back up and knocks the good guy off but while falling the good guy grabs the bad guys foot and they both fall off (both don't die) and the battle yet continues!

  • The good guy falls, but he doesn't die. The music continues with his story at the bottom of the valley.

  • Sounds like the bad guy won it would make it an epic sword fight if the bad guy won

  • If this was a Sherlock-type fight, then the bad guy wins, the good guy falls, and then either his trusty partner demands a rematch and wins/they both die or the good guy comes back.

Otherwise the bad guy falls and the violin following his descent off the cliff whilst the good guy watches makes it seem like we know for sure that the bad guy is dead, but turns out he survives somehow (like in DW) and the must battle once more.

  • the bad guy won. it sounded like the good guy fell off and I could just picture fight,

  • good guy

  • Someone Animate this?

  • the good guy

  • The good guy got knocked off.

  • Byebye Mr Good Guy T.T

  • nah i think it's the bad guy who won the way the music fades out in the end in an almost melancholic tone. Well it kinda sounded melancholic to me, but that's just my opinion xD

  • Anyone who says the bad guy won does not know this piece at all. The character of the piece after this moment is extremely peaceful or triumphant. You could say that before the theme returns, the good guy is traveling back home

  • -- guy fell off :D

  • make a skyrim video O_O

  • bad guy makes the good guy fall

  • awsome violin play is awsome , i really enjoy your playing sir

  • The 1 dislike is the swordsman who got knocked off the cliff.

  • @Chefodeath I really think you are right.... But seriously, i think the good guy was knocked off the cliff.

  • @Chefodeath Amen to that! :)

  • definitely sounds like the bad guy knocked the good guy off the cliff...

  • I would seriously love to see somebody animate this!!!

  • I think the good guy won.

  • the good guy won

  • wow its amazing you paint a perfect picture.

  • I've always thought the opening of the Brahms is the single most badass violin entrance EVER. You've got an interesting interpretation of it but I don't think I could put it in that sort of box.

  • ahaha I knew ichigo was going to lose XDDD

  • I think that the good guy won, but that the bad guy was his brother. The good guy didn't really want to fight his brother, but just talk some sense into him, and in the end he accidentally knocks his brother off the cliff.

  • You're back. I thought it wasn't for real, but this is your second come back video. :)

    Bad guy. :D

  • aww... the bad guy won...

  • Bad guy

  • The two fighters were brothers and it was the bad guy who fell off but the good guy tried to save but failed. And now he sits at the top of the cliff and mourns

  • Alright Bad guy totally knocked the good guy off for sure, but then when the scale is descending that means at one point, kind of like that rocky balboa movie the good guy is gonna make a triumphant return! and end with a big major chord! Happy ending for Brahms. :)
