@wanda952 Serge Gainsbourg was french buddy, born and raised in Paris.A french man with russian ancestry, this stuff happens, and it's caused by something called : immigration.A LOT of french folks have a diverse european background.

I myself have Ukrainian and serbian ancestry, but I was born and raised in France. Being a descendant of immigrants doesn't make me less french than any pure blooded Gallic. It's the culture you grow up in that makes you who you are, not your race or your ancestry.

Charlotte is a princess, daughter of the Enfant Terrible de la chanson française and of "the" sex symbol of the moment. As a child she had a long hard time because of this. It was not until later in her life that she could come to terms with it, giving way to the Charlotte we love and admire so much. All the best for her, deservely so.
