  • Yes they did I was in it, we took it to buxton

  • I was thinking, "what an usual setting!" and then I realised that it's Southampton Operatic Society, who, if I'm not mistaken, did Ruddigore with a cricket theme. My friends and I still talk about it occasionally :)

  • Not sure I agree on the voices. My favorite rendition of this song was done by Phillip Potter. The tenor can do all the notes -- just get them right and modulate accordingly.

    Sorry to disagree, but it's hard to beat D'Oyly Carte.
