I got burned by hot lead while casting, and used Vitamin E oil on it... it is healing up quickly.... I stay as far away from the lead pot as possible, and use a dust mask, which helps, but am thinking about a better mask...

agadorfea The mask may not protect you from fumes but would help protect against small pieces of splatter. I would were heavy gloves and long pants but most people don't wear HVAC suits to cast bullets. If he did you would not be able to hear him anyway. He is out in the open and not bending over the pot. Good enough.

CAUTION! These videos do not show proper casting. Paper masks do not protect against toxic fumes such as arsenic. Shorts ? ever see lead slag burn human flesh ?
