The TT Lambo has too much power to handle, that's a rocket with wheels. I really don't think asphalt is the problem. Think about F1 cars... maybe this car needs wider tires, bigger rear spoiler or learn how to accelerate with more progressively but don't blame the track.

@MaistroDavid I know surface is an enormous fact, but the same can happen to all cars, remember, they all compete in the same circumstances... all I'm saying is power and torque is not everything in racing, when you modify a car you should always do it with everything else, not just engine, clutch and gearbox. Remember the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak? that was a 1000 HP beast impossible to handle so... the trick is balance everything for the perfect car, that's the beauty of it.

But UGRs 4wd failed a couple days earlier so it's only 2wd, WAY too much for 1500bhp. If the 4wd still worked and if it was proper asphalt it wouldn't have as big trouble griping, UGRs are possible to go below 9 seconds on the strip with streettyres wich slaughter a Veyron, these things do grip but it was unfortunate that the 4wd failed and that the track was much worse than what they usually run

@m5boarddotcom Actually a stage 2.5 or a stage 3 TT conversion from UGR means they make your car RWD. Not sure about the specifics but I can tell you that for sure.

@designspm Ofcourse its possible, you just have to have wider tires (slicks ofc) and a good runway. We have a new drag race arena in Tierp here in Sweden that should work pretty nice (it deviates about 1 mm in height over the entire runway). It's just a bit of a pain in the ass to get the rolling starts since its kinda short.

Some sort of advanced traction control could be really usefull, just set it to about 11% slip ratio and you will get better drag times.

I own the GTR and it has dynoed 851 engine hp, and 1005 nm, probably a bit more now. Race was close up to 200 km/h. I did 319 km/h at breaking point and the Gallardo 344 km/h

193mph in a mile is good. Sounds like the Lambo had traction issues. You would beat it from a dig, but a GTR is going to have trouble beating a TT Lambo in a mile from a roll because the GTR's gearing is so short.
