@isankey12758 This most definitely is a steam engine. The boiler is just that, a boiler. The engine part is what you see here, Pistons, drive rod, flywheel, etc. That's why a steam engine is called an external combustion engine. Combustion takes place OUTSIDE the engine proper. As opposed to internal combustion (gasoline/diesel) where combustion takes place inside the cylinders.
