  • anyone got the link to the sheet music ?

  • where does everyone get their sheet music for this?!!?

  • too fast.

  • well that was beautiful, and so are you. i can only hope to be as good as you one day. :)

  • i played this for my school talent show and i won :D

  • Very nice, you got that last part well under control! I'm still struggling with getting left and right in sync when playing it fast.

  • Wow, WELL DONE. I know how hard it can be to come to grips with some of Tierssen's pieces cos y'know what? That guy has BIG freakin hands. You overcame that really well.

  • too fast.

  • try to put more soul

  • I'm learning this piece now and have to add criticism: you play too loud. It's piano.

The climax sounds not as hard in the Tiersen Version (not not as as).

You should put more effort into the climax.

    Dynamics, speed, accentuation (staccatos).

But this is still the best 'cover' i've herd so far.

  • @Jensbolte

Her hands are too small for the big chords in the beginning so she rolls on them. It's very hard to do that fast roll without ending up sounding the notes a bit louder.

  • Yes that's true.

  • Oh and still the best youtube version of l'absente I've heard so far

  • @sheebshag

Yeah, I'm learning this song from the sheet, and those huge two chords on the bass clef (bigger than an octave) or brutal (but so is my newbie technique).

  • The rythms that you play in la Valse d'Amelie are a lot better. But just in the first big part.

The rest is fine, the climax is almost perfect!

You're the first one that gets the staccato (not perfectly, but well).

4/5 (tending to 5/5 with better rythms in the beginning)

  • perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A+++++++++++++

  • Beautiful !

  • You sent shivers down my spine :)

  • cool !really fastO.o yann tieresen the best !

    ook een yann fan?

  • Ahh you have the fast section nailed! Awesome :D

  • waah the climax is uber! i'm learning this one now, but the climax is damn fast, strange enough my left hand can keep up but my right is shitty:p

    nice job!:p

  • You make it look easy

  • That's because the last section is supposed to be played staccato and all the covers I've seen on youtube (apart from my own) play it legato, which, quite frankly, anyone can do because it's easier and won't kill your hands.

It's the articulation that's the key, and that's what everyone seems to be missing out on unfortunately.

  • beautiful Miss

  • amazing i learn this piece now too

  • keep playing!

    it sounds wonderful!

  • hey dat heb je echt goed gespeelt 5/5! for sure ;)
