  • Sounds sweet!

Sounds like a bit of inspiration taken from 'Amen Brother' in that drum break.

  • they sound just like James Brown,

  • i've just seen these guys live in Birmingham UK last night! they were simply awesome especially the Drummer!!!!

  • we were there bro, fucking stunning, hare & hounds was rammed

  • Great!!!

  • wats the name of this song

  • It's Getcho soul togetha

  • oh wow! this is something unique and unexpected! the Breakestra playing music that brothers played ten times better decades ago! FUCK THIS CORNY SHIT!!! ENOUGH ALREADY!!! do something ORIGINAL for a change guys! i'd much rather hear a terrible band playing something unique than a decent copy band ANY DAY!

  • This is the stupidest statement ever! You're sayin that breakestra and other bands like it should let funk die! HELL NO!

    KEEP ON!

  • don't let the funk die...use it as an INGREDIENT to create something ORIGINAL is what i'm saying...this to me is like the funk equivalent of a Michael Jackson impersonator...entertaining...but UNORIGINAL!

  • I understand what you are saying. There is nothing about this that I haven't heard before. But, I don't really expect much outof contemporary artists. I guess, the people who originally set the standard, conquered it as well. So, for the currents artists, there must be nowhere for them to go but backwards.

  • yeah...i can dig it...but it would be cool if there were more original style funk bands of today...then bands like this wouldn't be the only ones we had to go to for some live funk! respect.

  • @fenderella2007 Given this particular track has a lot of heavy influence from 70's funk bands (we all know who were talkin' here!) but do you really think PBW and Egon would sign a band with no originality or personal creativity, to such a credible label as stones throw? Listen to the rest of the catalog- especially stuff with mc's on it.

  • cut chemist also.

  • Is that z trip 1:37 ????

  • definately.

Madlib, J Rocc, Iriescience as well.

  • is thee no video for "cramp ur style?" ...the old breakestra 1974 classic?

im surprised theres none thus far for it being so known

  • Great to see a funk band that's not from the 70's....

  • try lefties soul connection; dutch supergroup

  • don't forget cut chemist.

  • heavy heavy, love these guys so much

  • don't forget Rakka Iriscience

  • keep your eye out for madlib and z-trip cameo
