So I have an Apple iPod 4th Generation for my music and the Galaxy S 4G for my phone/texting.. I use both for games and internet. Not sure how similar the iPhone and iPod are to eachother, but I love both my phone and iPod! Both are awesome, love the widgets on the Galaxy, love the simplicity of the iPod. My phone (galaxy) is a little more complicated to use but I'm getting used to it.

Galaxy s 4g has mobile hotspot and wifi calling . Those two features alone make it better than iphone. Wifi calling is great for when you are in a low signal area and when I use it, I never get any dropped calls.

I can't be the only one who feels this way but, I feel it's Everything vs. iPhone. Every phone comparison seems to consist of a Android device & the iPhone. It clearly shows how Apple is such a threat. Android has over 200 device out. Apple.......2. And still a bunch of them don't stack up to the Apple design and OS. I'd like to see some Android on Android action because seeing basically the same phone getting ripped by the iPhone is annoying. iOS always prevails.

Im not a fanboy because i've owned both iphone 4 and galaxy s 4g both have their strengths and weaknesses. Iphone looks nicer but in terms of speed and functionality the galaxy s is much better. I think the iphones interface is far to simple. Android is much deeper. I actually liked iphone 3gs design more than 4. The 3gs was more comfortale while 4 just felt boxy.

If you notice when he shows the two phones together at the end, the vibrant shows more of the webpage(width). Therefore if the vibrant was zoomed in like the iphone is, cutting the right side off then you would be able to read the text easier(maybe). Not really a big deal just thought it should be noted.

The Galaxy S 4G has a totally seperate Brightness control for the WEB. Click the Menu and select brightness. Then it'll be BETTER than the iPhone.

It does all the same things as the iphone accept it doesn't have a crappy phone.Plus when I had my 4 it froze numerous times. Samsung S 4g you're talking about is a power hogging phone. Wifi online=3.5 hrs or less. Even less if you visit heavy 'flash' scripted sites. Yes, even on power saving mode with screen brightness turn to very low lite with GPS and data network off.

The p\hone will warm up if you talk longer than half hrs. Especially when you use it on business technical issue, the talk sometime longer than an hr, your ear area will sweat and feel burn cause of the phone, front and back top side. 3 Sam 4G, same.

I have an amendment to make to what you said. As of 5-16-2011 you can add free wi-fi calling to any wi-fi calling device with T-Mobile and it no longer comes off of your plan features. It is completely free, I know this because I work for T-Mobile lol. I use it personally and the call quality is great. However you will lose the call if you go out of the range of your wi-fi. So you can't start the call then leave, it will drop.

It sounds like you were trying to emphasize the Iphone's strengths in your dogfights. Clearly the Samsung won on the web browsing. This wasn't the only time that the Iphone lagged and froze on the browser. And you forgot to compare the lack of flash on IOS, but said multiple times of the transition (which I also appreciate, but that alone doesn't make it a better browser).

i personally like the Galaxy better i have the captivate for at&t and my dad got the iphone 4 didnt like it and got my phone, i think the Galaxy and any android phone is more customizable, and runs a bit faster because samsung makes the processors for apple too so, but theres more to do with Android and plus Android is still relatively new and has many more things to come.
