As Spurs manager I've done 4 seasons straight and retained everything (4 league, league cup, FA cup titles- 3 champion leagues titles) with full rep and yet at the end of every season I only seem to have the following option to sign into:

Manchester United (which I have absolutely no intention of doing)

A foreign team doing absolutely terrible

Stay with my club

My question is: how comes less jobs are available? I'm hoping to sign into Juventus or Barcelona but no job seems to be available.

i cant seem to buy a player at all! every time i try it says the wage was too low yet there was no way to put in an offered wage , its only the transfer fee! what is going on ? im on my third season with the same players its doing my head in !

@samlew2006 You have to agree a transfer fee with the club and then you agree a wage with the player, if the transfer fee is accepted that is.

In manager mode, I wanna change teams half way through the match, and as you start manager mode it gives you the option of whether you want to be able to do so but it will effect your career leaderboards or something, I say yes I still wanna do it but when in game it won't let me change teams it says I must have another controller assigned to my team...Anyone HELP?! The development team have been hard at work... doing sod all. All you can do is buy and sell players... you can't upgrade the facilities like scouts, coachs, stadium etc, you can't scout and player development is crap. I thought Manager Mode in Fifa 10 lacked a bit of depth but this is really taking the piss. Why do EA improve some things and then just leave others out completely? Another under-developed Fifa game.

@GenghisKal Really?! I dunno whether to get this now. I think the fact that your youth players never had steep growth curves even at top teams spoiled Fifa 10 for me. Good u21 internationals would peak at 75 if they wern't already starting for a decent club even if you played them reguarly. Imporvements sound good but if its lacking in these aspects I might give it a miss for now

@alsoknownasallenkeys The improvements they've made are great. The new passing system makes gameplay a lot more realistic and players do seem to have a bit more personality and individual style, for example players now have a set defensive and attacking work rate. Transferring players is a bit more difficult as well, you can't just have a totally different squad by the second season.

But there are a few bugs again. I still feel let down.

@GenghisKal Yeah I've got it and in general the gameplay seems much more realistic and you can tell when you have a player who isn't super strong and fast but is still good. I like the more realistic transfers too, you're not buying your own team you have to use what you have. It feels so slow and hard to penetrate the defence even with say robben ribery and ozil though. Maybe its because I've had 08 09 and 10 but it just feels a bit boring.

@del3n, career mode will replace manager and be a pro, in career you can be a player, player-manager, or manager. Or one then another then another. Also i think fifa will beat pes next year, and fifa have done a deal with the premiership so it will be more realistic.

i have played fifa 09 but i decided to try out pes 2010 instead , on this year both pes and fifa have done really good job on the teaser and trailer for new tweaks they put in.. i wonder is fifa still contain be a pro mode because im a big fan of it and thats the reason i bought fifa 09 last time.. on the other hand i also like pes master league, so this year do you think fifa's manager mode is better than pes ML?
