The loss of SCVS have nothing to do with the drops. If zerg lost 50 drones and did a drop into the terran base it's going to do damage also if the terran does nothing to defend against it. It was just not a smart comment from Psy.

Psy why do you get the roaches? You could get an extra queen, an extra spine and an extra drone instead of a roach Warren and just two roaches. If the hellions attack ur drones, u trap them with lings and queens and Then he loses all map control letting u get a third and no whenever he pushes out. I'd love to hear your opinion about this

wow. the guy tries to double expand and play a macro game but because you're using an easy mode race, you're able to build like 100 supply worth of fast, damaging units in like 5 seconds then you a-move into his 3rd with no micro and win. and then YOU bm him. real classy Psy.

@trbot I was half kidding. but Psy has no reason to complain about T in this match and shouldn't have BM'd considering the sloppy mistakes he made. first, Psy gets roaches which you don't actually need to defend against a 4 reaper expand which wastes gas and a drone. then, as he storms the 3rd from the Terran, he mismanages his Mutas and lings quite a bit. he didn't play this nearly as well as he could have and still won. then he BMs. I was just kinda trolling.

@juju52291 First, those units are called hellions, not reapers. Second, if that guy followed it up with a timing you want those roaches to soak up some damage from the tanks and hellions to give your lings the time too surround, so he DID need them at that point.

@TBLTimelog yeah, sorry, had a brain fart. but in any pro level ZvT you'll see the Z player try to avoid getting roaches. typically, if Terrans are going full on macro mode, with a reactor hellion expand, they'll only get 2 hellions. maybe four. and if the Z player gets too many defenses, they're behind. Psy was behind. he should have been significantly ahead on harvesters in the early/mid game but he wasn't. Psy should D up if he has a good read on his opponent or if he scouts him.

@juju52291 i'm won't give psy too much credit, as I know he was kinda sloppy compared to the super pros ;) but with what he has scouted, he needs roaches.. this could easily have been blueflame hellions as well, and without roaches, you're pretty much dead..

the biggest mistake was his slightly early overproduction, and slightly late upgrades.. and then he mismicroed ofc, but besides that I think this was a good game by psy.

There's some natural hostality between zerg and terran as terran is a race designed to own zerg. Helions own zerglings and drones, marines own muta, maruders own roaches, tanks own every single unit except ultras, well used medivacs make defending your expansions almost impossible and so on. I hate terrans too. :)

@Reapent Well, I guess I didn't clarify this, but I was also incredibly bad at WC3. So I played Night Elves against my similarly skilled friends by massing archers and those chicks that ride tigers. I'd also drop a shitload of those ranged units into their base with the zeppelins, and whenever they had static d I would use those ballistas to take 'em out (like siege tanks). Also, occasionally, I would BM my friends by running my slow-ass trees around the map.
